This guide covers all levels in Acorn Plains, including Acorn Plains Way, Tilted Tunnel, Blooper Waters, and Lemmy’s Swingback Castle. Each level includes detailed Star Coin locations, secret exits, and strategies to help you progress efficiently.

World 1: Acorn Plains – Walkthrough
This guide covers all levels in Acorn Plains, including Star Coin locations and secret exits.
Acorn Plains Way
- Star Coin 1: Right at the beginning after the second Flying Squirrel. Use the Super Acorn to glide to it.
- Star Coin 2: Enter the underground pipe shortly after. The second Star Coin is located there.
- Star Coin 3: After the checkpoint, jump onto the higher platform. Glide with the Super Acorn following the coins into a pipe. In the next section, descend while following the coins to reach the Star Coin in the middle.
Tilted Tunnel
- Star Coin 1: On the main path, easy to spot.
- Star Coin 2: After the checkpoint, grab a Koopa Shell and throw it at the upper wooden block to reveal a vine. Climb up and enter the pipe to reach the sky.
- Star Coin 3: At the sign pointing downward, perform a Ground Pound to access a hidden pipe leading to the Star Coin.
- Secret Exit: Near the Red Coin Ring, use the moving block to climb upward. Follow the hidden path to reach the secret exit.
Blooper’s Secret Lair
- Star Coin 1: Wait for the pipes to rotate, then swim upward to collect it.
- Star Coin 2: Swim slightly under the pipes first, then move toward the coin.
- Star Coin 3: Near the end, follow the coin trail indicating the correct (middle) pipe.
Crushing-Cogs Tower
- Star Coin 1: Climb the first gear and move right. Use wall jumps to reach the narrow gap with the coin.
- Star Coin 2: Freeze the Dry Bones near the coin ring. Activate the hidden block and wall jump to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3: After the checkpoint, stay to the right to find a hidden wall opening leading to the coin.
Yoshi Hill
- Star Coin 1: Use Yoshi’s flutter jump to reach it.
- Star Coin 2: Ground Pound between two visible wooden blocks to access a pipe. Use Yoshi to bounce off Piranha Plants.
- Star Coin 3: Drop into the red pipe between tall platforms to find the final coin.
Mushroom Heights
- Star Coin 1: Use Pink Baby Yoshi to float to the upper platform.
- Star Coin 2: Found under a mushroom platform after the checkpoint. Use Baby Yoshi to recover safely.
- Star Coin 3: Between Giant Piranha Plants. Use Fire Flowers to defeat them safely.
Rise of the Piranha Plants
- Star Coin 1: Floating above a Giant Piranha Plant.
- Star Coin 2: Defeat the plant blocking the pipe with a Fire Flower, then continue past more plants to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3: Near the end, above a Hammer Bro.
Lemmy’s Swingback Castle
- Star Coin 1: Between two moving platforms.
- Star Coin 2: Use the Super Acorn to glide and reach it.
- Star Coin 3: A pipe in the lava leads directly to the coin—be careful when collecting it.
