Superstar Road Walkthrough
Welcome to Superstar Road, the secret final world in New Super Mario Bros. U.
Unlocked after completing the main game and collecting Star Coins, this world features some of the most challenging levels, including Spine-Tingling Spine Coaster, Run for It, and Lakitu! Lakitu! Lakitu!
This guide shows all Star Coin locations and strategies to fully complete the toughest stages in the game.
Spine-Tingling Spine Coaster
- Star Coin 1: At the start between two giant Fuzzies.
- Star Coin 2: Jump off the track at the right moment.
- Star Coin 3: Stay at the back of the track near the end.
Run for It
- Star Coin 1: Ground pound through the first block layer.
- Star Coin 2: Bounce off a Paratroopa to reach it.
- Star Coin 3: Use the P-switch and wait near the goal.
Swim for Your Life!
- Star Coin 1: Defeat enemies using fire or Cheep Chomp.
- Star Coin 2: Carefully grab it between currents.
- Star Coin 3: Clear enemies again to reach it safely.
Hammerswing Caverns
- Star Coin 1: Hidden in a ceiling alcove.
- Star Coin 2: Reach via pipe using Flying Squirrel.
- Star Coin 3: Requires Flying Squirrel ability.
Spinning Platforms of Doom
- Star Coin 1: Glide to platform near Boo circle.
- Star Coin 2: Wall jump between blocks.
- Star Coin 3: Enter hidden pipe below blue pipe.
Fire Bar Cliffs
- Star Coin 1: Wait for safe gap between fire bars.
- Star Coin 2: Enter hidden pipe before fire rollers.
- Star Coin 3: Hidden pipe near the end.
Lakitu! Lakitu! Lakitu!
- Star Coin 1: Collect when green blocks drop.
- Star Coin 2: Straightforward jump.
- Star Coin 3: Use Lakitu cloud to reach hidden area.
Pendulum Castle
- Star Coin 1: Ride falling donut block down.
- Star Coin 2: Hidden pipe leads to star power section.
- Star Coin 3: Activate red blocks to reach it.
Follow That Shell!
- Star Coin 1: Use shell to clear path.
- Star Coin 2: Let shell trigger P-switch and collect coin.
- Star Coin 3: Shell activates vine leading to final coin.
