The rooftop battle unlocks after Boss Game 8. Guide the Mini Marios from the lower M door up the girders to Mario while avoiding Donkey Kong’s barrels and the fireballs created at the oil can.
Reaching Mario
Watch the next barrel before sending a Mini Mario across a ladder or exposed platform. Stop a Mini in a safe position if the path ahead is blocked, then resume when the obstacle has passed. Additional Minis emerge from the starting door during the fight.
Winning the Final Battle
Every Mini that reaches Mario becomes a hit against Donkey Kong. Land six hits to win; losing six Minis ends the attempt. This encounter has no score or star ranking. After the ending, reload the cleared save to reveal DK’s Hideout in the basement.
