Spike’s Tumbling Desert
- Star Coin 1 Before the first spike, you can reach this Star Coin with a jump.
- Star Coin 2: To the left of the spike under a projection, you can find a secret room with a Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 After the P Switch you will find this coin above a spike.
Underground Grrrols
- Star Coin 1 After the tube you have to go with Yoshi on the small rock outcrop for the Star Coin to appear.
- Star Coin 2 Behind a rock, the Star Coin appears briefly.
- Star Coin 3 In front of the target you will find this coin to the right of the tube.
Piranhas in the Dark
- Star Coin 1 Get the star at the beginning of the level, and go to the cave with it. On the left you will find another star. Above the first Piranha Plant floats the first coin.
- Star Coin 2 keep running and you will find another star in the middle? block before the second Star Coin. You can easily collect the second coin.
- Star Coin 3 At the exit of the green tube floats the third coin.
Wind-Up Tower
- Star Coin 1 Turn up and jump up quickly to reach the Star Coin before it gets covered up.
- Star Coin 2 With the second screw, the Star Coin turns right out of the wall. Jump up here quickly to reach them.
- Star Coin 3 After the last screw, you have to quickly jump the stone blocks up.
The Walls Have Eyes
- Star Coin 1 Use a Ground Pound on the face rock so that you reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 At the point where a fist squirrel flies, you also have to move the middle rock down with a Ground Pound. After that, you can find a hidden block with a bean bar. This leads you to the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 With a Super Acorn you can easily reach this Star Coin.
- There are hidden wall blocks near the second Star Coin, which can be destroyed with a Ground Pound. The hidden tube leads to the secret exit.
Slippery Rope Ladders
- Star Coin 1 With a Wall Jump, you can slide down to the coin and then save yourself on the ladder.
- Star Coin 2: Not to be overlooked, jump to the second ladder on the pipes and collect the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 Either you expose it with a Fire Flower or the Fire Bro throws fireballs until you can reach the Star Coin.
Stone Spike Conveyors
- Star Coin 1 Hail away the stone spike and get the coin.
- Star Coin 2 Use the stone spike on the red mushroom as a trampoline to reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: Stay on the last platform until you reach the Star Coin.
Spinning Sandstones
- Star Coin 1 Wait for a short gap at the Piranha Plants to get you the Star Coin with a jump.
- Star Coin 2 Between the piranha plants on the sand platforms, you can find a hidden block of bean plant. At the other end, the Star Coin is waiting.
- Star Coin 3 Behind the big super-Piranha Plant is a secret room with the last Star Coin. Either defeat with a Koopa Troopa or with fireballs.
Morton’s Lava-Block Castle
- Star Coin 1 With one jump you can free the Star Coin from the blocks.
- Star Coin 2 is floating in the lava. Freeze a dry bones and throw it on the coin.
- Star Coin 3 run quickly over the many blocks in front of the door to reach them with a jump afterwards.
