Settled Valley opens at 114 discovery stars. Search the settlement above ground and its caves below: several goals involve returning creatures or finding hidden residents, rather than defeating everything on the page. Keep a Shy Guy or Little Mouser available when a narrow opening blocks Yoshi's route.

Loopdeecoop Habitat
Climb the left-hand platforms and carry a Loopdeecoop. Its rotating hoop strikes nearby objects and can redirect things placed in its path.

Detonut Habitat
Carry a Detonut to a breakable obstruction and throw it so its explosion opens the route. Keep clear of the blast while watching which nearby objects it affects.

Shy Guy Abode
Find the red Shy Guy by the turquoise house on the right and the orange one left of the start. Tail Flick the flower bed above them to expose the pink Shy Guy.

Bugya Habitat
Eat a watermelon for seed ammunition. Shoot the fruit armour around the first Bugya until it breaks, then deal with the exposed creature.

Little Mouser Nest
Bring the first Shy Guy from the cave back to the house on the outside left platform. Little Mousers can steal a passenger from Yoshi, so watch your carried creature on the return trip.

Hauger Habitat
Ride the sleeping Hauger after the scene with Bowser Jr. and Kamek. Its drill breaks the first rock wall. Follow the tunnel and drill through the soil to explore below ground.
