Hauger Habitat is a habitat in Chapter 4: Settled Valley of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Follow the route below and collect all 5 Smiley Flowers during your exploration.

Walkthrough
- Ride the sleeping Hauger after the scene with Bowser Jr. and Kamek. Its drill breaks the first rock wall. Follow the tunnel and drill through the soil to explore below ground.
- Surface at the left platform for the nut, then use the cliff edge as a ramp to reach the twisted tree. Inspect the leaves below that tree for the Golden Bug.
- Climb the large vine and drill apart the statue. Return underground for the water cave, then break the right-hand wall.
- Move the large vine-covered object blocking the later route. It is Bowser Jr. and Kamek's flying machine. In the battle, ram the dropped bombs with Hauger's drill to send them back, and strike the machine when it is within reach. Destroying it completes the Big Discovery.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — Left nut
Left nut: drill underground to the left platform and break the nut on the tree.
Smiley Flower 2 — Twisted tree
Twisted tree: use the cliff edge to jump onto its upper section.
Smiley Flower 3 — Stone statue
Stone statue: climb the large vine and drill the statue apart.
Smiley Flower 4 — Water cave
Water cave: dig to the hidden lower cave and break its right-hand wall.
Smiley Flower 5 — Upper bush
Upper bush: move the vine-covered obstruction, ride up the left wall and jump into the bush on the right.
Creatures and additional discoveries
Try pulling Hauger's tail and releasing it, as well as riding and jumping. The drill solves both traversal and the boss fight. In the arena, keep the machine and falling bombs in view so a return hit sends the projectile towards the target rather than away from it.

- Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
