Walkthrough
- Ground Pound a Upshoot's head to launch it upwards. Ride the initial vertical movement before adding a Flutter Jump.
- In the rescue area, position the large Upshoots beneath the giant Bunchabees. Launch them into the attackers until the small Upshoot is safe.
- Bring the rescued little creature to its protected recess for the second flower route.
- Complete the later vertical token course by chaining launches between columns. Check the remaining swarm reactions after the rescue if you are filling the creature index.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — Above the leaves
Above the leaves: launch straight up from a Upshoot and flutter near the top.
Smiley Flower 2 — Small Upshoot refuge
Small Upshoot refuge: clear the giant Bunchabees and guide the small creature into its safe recess.
Smiley Flower 3 — Vertical ! Switch
Vertical ! Switch: launch between platforms and collect the complete blue-token sequence.
Creatures and additional discoveries
Rescuing the small Upshoot is the goal; the optional swarm experiments continue afterwards. Aim the large creatures at the attackers instead of spending each launch only on Yoshi's height.
