Razor Ridge | Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble!

The Razor Ridge is one of the more difficult regions of Donkey Kong Country 3. Here, dark caves, steep rock faces and underwater passages alternate.

Buzzer Barrage

In the cave you are mostly on the road with quawks. Since he cannot shoot eggs, you have to pick up barrels and throw them on the buzzes.

Bonus #1: Keep yourselves on the right side during the ascent as possible. Below a red and a green buzz lies the bonus barrel.

DK Coin: After the star barrel you will find Koin. The required metal barrel lies above it.

DK Coin: Koin is located above the target flag. You reach the elevated platform only with a partner throw.

The rope leads directly past numerous buzzes. Use Dixie’s hovering attack to better control your landing position.

Bonus #1: Take the TNT barrel at the K and jump far to the right. At the bottom of the wall is a destructible place.

For another banana bird cave, Sprout needs a wrench.

First buy the mirror from Bazaar and take it to Barter. He exchanges it for the wrench.

Then give the tool sprout on the chairlift. The repaired track will take you to the hidden Crystal Cave Summit-Kitzel.
