Open the Journal from the Nintendo Switch remake’s menu to review the adventure and its records. The story summaries belong to the Scrapbook; they are written from the party members’ perspectives as events unfold. This is a separate menu feature from the list of enemies.
Scrapbook
Read the newest entry after a major event if you have forgotten the immediate goal. The summaries are useful for recalling the story, but they do not mark every hidden chest or optional equipment reward. Use the walkthrough chapters for the actual route and return trips.
Monster List
The Monster List tracks enemies and their additional Thought Peek records. Use Mallow’s move with its timed input to complete the thought information. Missing records can be purchased from the relevant Booster Pass NPC once available. The Monster List reference separates names, HP, weaknesses and encounter areas.
Sound Player and Play Report
After clearing the main story and loading the completed save, check the Journal’s Sound Player and Play Report features. The Sound Player lets you revisit the music; the Play Report presents adventure records. They are not additional story chapters. The rematch guide explains the new battles unlocked after the ending.
Keep track of optional progress
The Journal does not replace a full hidden-treasure route. Consult the 39 hidden treasures and side quests when you want the permanent rewards. A story entry becoming available does not prove that every optional item in that area has been collected.
