Unlockables
Unlockable Characters
There are 18 unlockable characters in Mario Kart World.
Seven are unlocked by winning Grand Prix Cups, while the others are obtained through Kamek transformations during races.
- Donkey Kong – Win Mushroom Cup
- Daisy – Win Flower Cup
- Rosalina – Win Star Cup
- Lakitu – Win Shell Cup
- Birdo – Win Banana Cup
- King Boo – Win Leaf Cup
- Bowser Jr. – Win Lightning Cup
- Remaining characters – Transformations via Kamek during races
Unlockable Tracks & Modes
- Special Cup – Win all Grand Prix Cups
Mirror Mode Requirements:
- Play all Grand Prix Cups in 150cc
- Play all Knockout Tour Cups in 150cc
- Complete at least 10 P-Switch Missions
- Collect 10 P-Blocks
- Collect 10 Peach Coins
After completing all requirements, replay the Special Cup in 150cc to unlock Mirror Mode.
Characters
Mario Kart World features 50 characters, including many returning favorites and brand-new racers.
Main Characters
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Wario, Daisy, Waluigi, Rosalina and more.
New Characters
20 new racers make their debut, including enemies and creatures from across the Mario universe.
Examples include: Goomba, Pianta, Spike, Pokey, Penguin, Dolphin, Snowman, Cataquack, Swooper, and more.
Outfits
A total of 103 outfits can be unlocked for 24 characters.
To unlock outfits, collect Dash Food items (Turbo Snacks) at Yoshi’s Diner during races or free roam.
Each food type triggers a different outfit transformation.

- Popcorn
Tip: In Free Roam mode, you can track which outfits you already unlocked.
Tracks & Grand Prix Cups
There are 30 tracks in total, with some tracks featuring multiple layouts, resulting in 32 variations.

Knockout Tour
Knockout Tour is a new mode where players race across multiple tracks in sequence.
After each section, the last racers are eliminated.
The winner is the player who finishes first in the final stage.
