Inside the Mushroom Kingdom
You land after the attack in the Gritzy Caves. If you go downstairs, you will quickly find a blue pipe that leads you out of the cave, but this is unfortunately the wrong exit. So go back again and instead go right. You can defeat the Enemies and use them as training. At the top is a small cave where the babies can find useful items. Search right for a color switch and activate it. You go up the new path and then roll over the hills. In the next section you will meet Petey Piranha, but he does not release the princess, but eats Kyle Koopa next.

The Symbol Machine
Leave this place and continue downstairs. If you go down the narrow path, you can get coins again. If you have these, go to the left of the machine. Role with Mario as a ball against her. With the babies you go to the cave and fill baby Mario with water. Symbols are constantly passing. Sprinkle the icon with water, which can also be seen on the lower screen. If you manage this three times, a bridge appears that leads you further. Stand there on the Color Switch to have a shortcut later. Below you will find the next blue warp pipe, which lets you penetrate deeper into the Gritzy Caves.
Another level in the sand cave
Take the memory off and go to the right. Throw the babies into the cave and let them activate the Color Switch at the end of the aisle. As a bullet, you must now try to get to the other side as quickly as possible. If you make it and also activate this Block before the expiration of time, the further way is clear. In the next area you will find a tube crystal block to catch up with the babies. Go down and there to the left, the Enemies on the way you should defeat everyone to get a little stronger. At the end of the long corridor you will find a color switch, which makes a staircase appear. Just keep going until you’re back at a machine. Throw the babies into the cave and roll with the big ones against the gear. Now you always jump from platform to platform with the babies and activate all blocks. When three pieces are activated, a crystal block appears, which makes it possible to overcome the spike trap with a vertebral attack. Continue to the blue tube and use it.
Reunion with the Princess
In this last area you should refill and save your HP again. This is followed by the fight against Petey Piranha. This one is a bit tougher. Attack him first with an Ice Flower so that his defense sinks. Next you choose either the trampoline or the Brothers Cannon, both of which injure him with almost 100 HP. In the Petey Piranha attacks, you usually just have to jump and at the right time. If he only shows his head, it is best to use a Koopa tank, as it still causes the most damage. After almost 20 laps, however, his last hour has beaten and Petey Piranha is defeated. It now appears Kyle Koopa and a new Cobalt star, but not the princess. To meet them go upstairs and hit the wall with the hammer. In the next room you activate the Color Switch to finally meet the princess.
