Walkthrough
- Let the large Lunge Fish swallow Yoshi. Aim its launch upwards for the high flower and towards obstacles for the underwater routes.
- Explore the ruins along the sea floor, then use the fish-shaped Flooflys on the right to climb above the water.
- Use a water-filled launch to revive the wilted plant on the right cliff. Aim carefully into the small opening on the middle platform and the tunnel in the right-hand seabed.
- For the Big Discovery, attack the Shy Guys' fishing boat with the large Lunge Fish. Break its trapping equipment and free the young fish.

Smiley Flower 1 — Above the trees
Above the trees: aim the fish's launch nearly vertically, then Flutter Jump at the top.
Smiley Flower 2 — Fish-shaped Flooflys
Fish-shaped Flooflys: climb the right-hand cloud formation.
Smiley Flower 3 — Underwater ruins
Underwater ruins: break the crates and rubble, then inspect the exposed floor.
Smiley Flower 4 — Right cliff plant
Right cliff plant: launch Yoshi with water over the wilted flower.
Smiley Flower 5 — Middle platform opening
Middle platform opening: aim Yoshi into the narrow gap.
Smiley Flower 6 — Right seabed tunnel
Right seabed tunnel: position the fish by the small entrance in the sand and launch inside.
Creatures and additional discoveries
The angle of the launch matters more than a last-second Flutter Jump. Line up at the fish's mouth before firing. Use the launch to test statues, ruins and narrow passages; it is both a transport ability and a powerful impact attack.
