Bewilder Bird Habitat is a habitat in Chapter 6: Remote Isle of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Follow the route below and collect all 6 Smiley Flowers during your exploration.

Overview

Chapter 6: Remote Isle
Discovery stars to unlock 218
Smiley Flowers 6

Walkthrough

  1. Open the creature index and choose a recorded creature for Bewilder Bird to copy. Use Jetty Jelly, Glubbit, Goonie or another lifting form to climb the first waterfall.
  2. At the lake, use Lunge Fish to launch Yoshi into the underwater statue. Use a strong form to crack the nut and a flying form to reach the flower above the water.
  3. Change to Hauger to dig through the sand. Clear the lower rocks, then switch to Little Mouser for the tiny tunnel at the bottom right.
  4. For Bowser Jr. and Kamek, change forms as the obstacles require: flight or water propulsion for height, Lunge Fish for underwater impacts and Hauger for drilling. Use the copied abilities to finish the encounter and make the Big Discovery.

Smiley Flower locations

The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.

Smiley Flower 1 — Upper wilted plant

Upper wilted plant: reach the waterfall's top and water it with Jetty Jelly.

Smiley Flower 2 — Lake nut

Lake nut: use Detonut or a forceful Lunge Fish launch to crack it.

Smiley Flower 3 — Underwater statue

Underwater statue: transform into Lunge Fish and launch Yoshi into the statue at the bottom-right of the cave.

Smiley Flower 4 — Underwater cloud

Underwater cloud: bring watermelon seeds from the right-hand area and shoot the Winged Cloud in the lake.

Smiley Flower 5 — Above the lake

Above the lake: use Goonie, Jetty Jelly, Wooshwing or Floofly to reach the airborne flower.

Smiley Flower 6 — Deep sand

Deep sand: dig with Hauger, then throw a copied Little Mouser into the narrow bottom-right tunnel.

Creatures and additional discoveries

Whistling recalls Bewilder Bird when it is far away and can restore its last copied form. If a form cannot survive in its current position, the bird returns to normal. Try both large and tiny forms for discoveries, and use Mawstalk to catch the Golden Bug in the trees. The index only offers creatures already documented.

Before leaving

  • Check the habitat’s flower counter against the locations above.
  • Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
  • Review the creature’s book entry for an unrecorded interaction or a later discovery event.
