Walkthrough
- Ride a Tumball and build speed along the ground. Ground Pound to curl it into its rolling form, then use slopes to reach higher ledges.
- Roll through mud and the nearby leaves to expose the concealed starting passage. Return the Tumballs to their circular holes as you cross the cave.
- Keep enough speed to cross the gap into the underground section. Activate its red ! Switch before moving on to the water.
- Roll across the water and return the last Tumball to its hole. Returning the whole group completes the nest's main task.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — Starting leaves
Starting leaves: coat the rolling Tumball in mud, then roll through the leaf pile to open the secret passage.
Smiley Flower 2 — Left tree
Left tree: build speed up the tree and jump from the Tumball to the high platform.
Smiley Flower 3 — Underground crevice
Underground crevice: after returning the Tumball across the gap, throw an egg up into the crack above the route.
Smiley Flower 4 — Underground switch
Underground switch: roll through every blue token released by the red ! Switch.
Smiley Flower 5 — Above the water
Above the water: keep rolling speed across the surface and jump up to the flower.
Creatures and additional discoveries
Mud changes which objects stick to the shell. Try the clean and muddy forms before finishing the nest. A later return brings Wiggaline into the habitat, opening a different interaction from the original rolling route.
Before leaving
- Check the habitat’s flower counter against the locations above.
- Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
- Review the creature’s book entry for an unrecorded interaction or a later discovery event.
