Walkthrough
- Ride Underbit through the sand and eat creatures along the route. Feeding it increases its size and the objects it can bite through.
- Trigger the blue-token challenge in the middle of the habitat. Clear both the buried and exposed tokens before continuing.
- Pull Wiggaline's head in the cave to uncover the next sandy route. Search beneath the surface for insects and fossils, then take the left sand pocket through the magma area.
- Continue feeding Underbit before testing large rocks. At the far-right L-shaped sand platform, launch upwards and Flutter Jump into the hut. Later, return when Hauger appears for the combined underground experiment.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — Middle ! Switch
Middle ! Switch: eat all the blue tokens, including those outside the sand.
Smiley Flower 2 — Wiggaline cave
Wiggaline cave: pull the head, then enter the exposed quicksand passage.
Smiley Flower 3 — Magma pools
Magma pools: follow the left sand pocket carefully, avoiding the lava beside it.
Smiley Flower 4 — Right-hand hut
Right-hand hut: launch vertically out of the L-shaped sand platform and Flutter Jump to the hut.
Creatures and additional discoveries
Try a spicy bug to strengthen Underbit, and compare what it can eat before and after growing. Investigate the water plants, small fish and colourful fish as separate foods. Leave enough time to explore the underground passages instead of heading straight for the far-right exit.
