Walkthrough
- Fill a Wash Squash in water, hold it in Yoshi's mouth and spray plants. Refill before it wilts so you can finish longer watering routes.
- Wash the mud off the early wall to reveal the mural and fossilized twin-mouthed Wash Squash. Revive the fossil in water to try its two jets.
- For the Shy Guy's jug, fill an ordinary Wash Squash, cover it in mud and throw it into the campfire. Give the fired jug to the Shy Guy.
- Water the large tree to produce more Wash Squashes. Continue to the final flower field and water the plants until the whole field blooms.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — After the balloon plants
After the balloon plants: use the nearby Floofly and Flutter Jump to reach the raised flower route with a filled Wash Squash.
Smiley Flower 2 — Token course
Token course: activate the red ! Switch and collect every blue token before the challenge ends.
Smiley Flower 3 — Shy Guy's jug
Shy Guy's jug: reveal the mural, coat a full Wash Squash in mud, fire it in the campfire and give the jug to the waiting Shy Guy.
Creatures and additional discoveries
Make wilted and twin-mouthed jugs as well as the ordinary version. Planting a Wash Squash in soil with a Ground Pound, then watering it, creates another tree; Ground Pounding it on a leaf platform does not have the same effect.
