Walkthrough
- Keep moving as Grab-Grass reaches out from its nest. Ground Pound to stun it before entering the narrow lower tunnel.
- Complete the token route during a clear opening, then use a rain Floofly to revive the wilted flower. Leave enough space to escape each grab.
- Use the vines as firing positions for the Winged Clouds. Jump away only after your egg hits and the flower appears.
- At the nut room, stand beyond the nut so Grab-Grass reaches through it towards Yoshi. Its grip crushes the shell. Continue exploring its reach and nest, then return for the Wooshwing event later.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — Narrow cave
Narrow cave: enter the tight passage, descend and move left to the side area.
Smiley Flower 2 — Red ! Switch
Red ! Switch: collect every blue token while avoiding Grab-Grass.
Smiley Flower 3 — Dry flower
Dry flower: bring a blue rain Floofly above the plant and wait for it to bloom.
Smiley Flower 4 — First Winged Cloud
First Winged Cloud: hold the vine, hit the cloud with an egg and Flutter Jump to the released flower.
Smiley Flower 5 — Across the gap
Across the gap: jump from the elevated left platform or a Floofly and flutter to the distant flower.
Smiley Flower 6 — Nut room
Nut room: lure Grab-Grass through the nut so its grip crushes the shell.
Smiley Flower 7 — Second Winged Cloud
Second Winged Cloud: shoot from the vine, then jump to the flower while the creature recoils or is stunned.
Creatures and additional discoveries
A stun buys time for a puzzle; it is not a reason to remain beside the nest. Test which objects the creature grabs and brings home, including the Golden Bug, before starting the later flying-creature event.

- Check the habitat’s flower counter against the locations above.
- Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
- Review the creature’s book entry for an unrecorded interaction or a later discovery event.
