Episode 1 — Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret
Landed on the beach, you go right and look for a single dune root that grows in front of a peninsula. Spray this with your hover nozzle so that it becomes huge. The plant grows a gate on the peninsula, which you should visit quickly. In the extra area you have to jump over all platforms again and thus reach the goal. But watch out, because the sand blocks just disintegrate when you jump on it.
Episode 2 — Mirror Madness! Tilt, Slam, Bam!
This time you must first go to the mountain of the island. Go up to the right and spray the dune root in a bay so that a staircase grows. Arriving at the top of the mountain, you slide down the path in the middle and land on a trampoline. With the right timing, you can now get right on the first mirror. Your task now is to push the monsters with water to the edge of the mirror and spray them until they lose their balance. Once this is done, you put a ground pound on the opposite side of the mirror so that they are thrown away. Repeat this on the remaining mirrors. It is best to take only a monster, because otherwise you do not manage to use the ground pound quickly enough. If all mirrors are cleaned you can get the Shine Sprite on the peninsula.
Episode 3 — Wiggler Ahoy! Full Steam Ahead!
Just Wiggler was still on the glass ball, now he runs angry over the beach. But it has a weak point. To get to this you have to wait until it passes close to a dune root. Now spray them quickly so that a sand castle grows and Wiggler flies on his back. Run after him and jump on his body parts. Find the piece where an arrow points to it and use the ground pound. Wiggler then rips up again and you have to bring him down again. After a total of three goals, Wiggler disintegrates and you have won the next Shine Sprite.
Episode 4 — The Sand Bird is Born
Again you have to go to the mountain of the island to slide from there to the trampoline. Try to jump into the hole to get to the Sand Bird. Arriving on the Sand Bird, you will find the first coin in front of you. The next one is on the head of the bird. You will find two more each on the wings. Once you have collected these six coins, Vogel turns slowly. This is the most difficult part of the flight. Look between tail and wing protection on a single block. It's really hard to jump and land so you don't fall down. But once you have survived and the Sand Bird is back in its starting position, you can fetch the seventh coin from the tail. Shortly afterwards you also arrived at the top of the tower. Leave the bird over the left wing. On the tower you will find the last coin and the Shine Sprite.
Episode 5 — Il Piantissimo's Sand Sprint
In front of the beach house you see a pink “Pianta”. Talk to him and he challenges you to a race to the flag. Take the race and sprint. To be as fast as possible, a variant of running, jumping and belly slipping is quite effective. The route leads you back to the small bay, where you can otherwise make a staircase appear. This time this is not the case and you have to get up using the wall jump. Above you use a shortcut and run across the mountain to find the way again just before the top. Run only to the flag to win the race.
Episode 6 — Red Coins in the Coral Reef
This mission is relatively simple. Look for the reef on the left in the water. From the pictures you can see where all the coins are located. Two Red Coins are in the swarm of fish and must be tracked quickly. When hunting, be careful not to be eaten by a large fish.
Episode 7 — It's Shadow Mario! After Him!
The seventh mission is as always with Shadow Mario. This time he is doing his evil on the beach. Pursue Shadow Mario over stick and stone while spraying him with water. After a while he goes to the ground and the next Shine Sprite is yours.
Episode 8 — The Watermelon Festival
Your task is to find the largest watermelon on the island and then roll it to the jury. Finding them is not too hard. On the mountain rests the watermelon monster. But the art is to bring them down unscathed. For this, you are the first to roll the way towards the water up on the mountain. In the small inversion you have to let them roll down, for better or worse. Speed is now needed. Below you quickly spray all the Cataquacks so that they can not throw the melon in the air. Jump to the monsters for safety, so they are paralyzed for some time. If the path is clear, roll the melon down one floor. Here you turn off all the Cataquacks again and bring the melon to the jetty. Now it depends on your skill. Slowly you have to roll the watermelon to the end of the jetty so that the judge sees it. However, if this is done, the next Shine Sprite is yours.
Tip: Get Yoshi beforehand and spray all Cataquacks with his juice so that they do not reappear.
Secret Shine 1 — Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret
Start Mission 1 again and go to the sandcastle again. As in all other bonus areas, you have to collect eight Red Coins on the second step. You cannot miss the first three coins, because they are on your way. Two more coins are at the two vertices of the pyramid and one is in the middle. Number seven can be found at the top right and number eight at the top left on the fixed platforms. Once you have collected them all, a new Shine Sprite appears.
Secret Shine 2 — The hidden sand Shine
This Shine Sprite is a little hidden. Start the eighth mission and the mirrors (pillars). On a pillar you can find a dune root. Spray them and a hole appears. The secret is that you have to spray the wall in the hole for a Shine Sprite symbol to appear. If this lights up completely, a real one now appears.
