Terra Flora

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope guide hub

Terra Flora’s route runs through the Everbloom Tree, the Wiggler Train and Mt. Spout. Meet Bea to upgrade Wave Power, destroy the eyes on the angry Wiggler, then reopen the volcano’s water supply. This page also covers the three optional Spark quests and the hidden Planet Coin puzzles.

Story walkthrough

Stay on Track — reach the Everbloom Tree

Clear Foul Attraction on the tree approach. Magnafowls pull heroes close before dealing heavy damage, so keep the party separated. They are weak to Ooze and resist Shock. Activate Luigi’s Steely Stare before a planned Gust or Splash displacement, then trigger the forced movement through his reaction line. Ordinary uncharged Dashes or Discruptor hits do not automatically cause the required displacement.

Inside the tree, activate the flag and explore the blue-ball barrier puzzle. Scan the coin trail across the gap, take the pipe and find the yellow device. Follow the scanned arrow, climb the ladder and break the cracked wall; scan beyond it for the yellow cube. Carry the cube back to open the pipe to the blue ball, then return that ball to its original device.

Ooze Inside the Everbloom and Bea

Climb through the tree using Scan on invisible paths and Wave on the marked blocks. Purple alignment tiles control connected bridges; stabilizing one can scatter another. Move to a safe side before changing their configuration and lower shortcut ladders when available.

Oozers can block weapon attacks or Techniques and Spark Powers. Dashes remain useful, so bring movement damage rather than relying on three identical weapon builds. Oozers are weak to Gust and resist Ooze. Glitter can collect a reachable group for Edge and Rabbid Mario; use Ennui after the damaging actions to hold survivors.

Winning rescues Aquaquake. Continue to Bea at the top: Drizzle upgrades Beep-0’s Wave Power to affect vegetation. Use repeated Wave pulses to finish growing a vine bridge, then descend toward Central Station.

Central Station and One Angry Wiggler

Outside the tree, grow the newly available route and continue to Terra Flora Meadows. At the blocking eye, use the nearby pipe and purple bridge controls to reach the egg; a change that scatters the first bridge can stabilize the second. Carry the egg back and destroy the eye before boarding Sullivan’s train.

The battle requires sixteen Darkmess Eyes within twelve turns. They appear on Wiggler in groups of three, then five, then eight, with the next group arriving after the previous one is destroyed. Spread across the train cars to keep the changing eyes in range. Rabbid Luigi can chain several visible eyes with one Discruptor attack; Mario can reach another side through Team Jumps and Jump Panels.

Control the Oozers and Lone Wolves obstructing useful firing positions, but avoid spending whole turns on enemies unrelated to the eyes. Keep the forward runner protected with Ethering or a barrier. The victory awards the first energy crystal and the Sullivan Memory, then the train reaches Mt. Spout.

Uncork the Volcano — enter Mt. Spout

Use upgraded Wave on the thorns and activate the entrance flag. Where vines obstruct the route, scan the adjacent rock symbols for ladders and bridges. Break the cracked wall to reach an egg and carry it across the stabilized bridge to the blocking eye.

At the two-pressure-plate puzzle, reveal the hidden bridge beside the Wave platforms to reach the second control. Lower both platforms, bring the first crate onto blue, then climb through the opened route and scan the second crate. Push it down and place it on green. Use the exposed purple tile to remove the next thorn and continue toward Depths of Mt. Spout.

Metalheads and the water-spout puzzle

Metalheads contains seventeen Armored Goombas. They are immune to normal damage. Dash and throw them out of bounds, or use Splash and Gust to knock them off the arena. Edge’s multiple Dashes and Peach’s Team Barrier are useful; aim the displacement toward the edge rather than simply moving an armored target to another safe tile.

Beyond the fight, plug every small water spout with a stone or crate so the pressure clears the large rock. Carried objects cannot use ladders, so transport them on Wave platforms. On the first side, smash the block hiding an upper spout, load a crate and plug stone onto the lift, raise both, place the stone on the upper fountain and drop the crate down to the lower one.

On the opposite side, find the extra stone behind the breakable block around the hill. Use the movable horizontal platform to ferry the other stone and crate between ladders. Plug the upper spout with its stone and push the crate off the final ledge onto the lower fountain. Check for an unsealed hidden spout if the large rock remains.

Spout Forth

Destroy three Darkmess Dams using the potions beside the cauldrons. Each elevation has a dam and a cauldron; the water released behind a broken dam becomes out of bounds and can cover Jump Panels, so check the next route before throwing.

Cauldrons supply at most two waiting potions. Take what you need rather than leaving both in place and expecting another spawn. A potion can also open a smaller obstruction over a pipe or Jump Panel, but those optional barriers are not additional victory targets.

Use Luigi’s extra Team Jump, Mario’s movement skills or a Move Boost to reach the next supply point. Respect active Lone Wolf sight lines and Depleter counters. Protect the carrier with Ethering, a barrier or healing, then throw at the dam once it highlights as a valid target. Winning frees Pulser, restores the water and provides the second energy crystal.

Sparks on Terra Flora

Aquaquake and Pulser are story rewards. Sullivan’s Despair awards Oozer Master, The Quest for Courage awards Toxicomet and the Secret Zone awards Cryogeddon. Drizzle upgrades Wave Power and is not equipped for battle.

Side quests and hidden routes

Sullivan’s Despair

After the train battle, meet Sullivan at Mt. Spout Station. Use its ladder, green pipe and cannon, then grow and scan the route to the first track thorn. Destroy it with repeated Wave pulses. For the second, use the bridge stabilizer and the usable cannon, leaving the keyed cannon until later. Collect the round key revealed after the second thorn, unlock that cannon and cross the scanned and purple bridges to the third. Destroy it and win Hold That Train! at the repair station for Oozer Master and A Different Appreciation.

The Quest for Courage

After Spout Forth, speak to Alkementor and Toxicomet. Remove the thorn, grow the bridge to the laboratory and clear Darkmess in the Cauldron. The brew has four stages, not three. Add stones only on their matching flame and rotate right between the listed colors: green then blue; blue then pink; orange then pink then green; green then blue then orange. The stone must enter before you rotate to the next color, and a forbidden flame resets the current stage. The orange square can look yellow under the game’s lighting. Completing all four stages recruits Toxicomet.

Terra Flora Secret Zone

Buy the Efflorescent Key for twelve Planet Coins. Behind the Everbloom entrance, enter the door and lower the block near Cryogeddon. Descend, move the ladder block aside and push the crate from the far ledge down to the lower level. Bring it onto the corner lift and lower it while standing on the ladder side, so you can still follow it. Use the crate’s plate to free the green key, then load both crate and key onto the lift together. Raise them, transfer them across the next Wave platform and use the wall’s bridge tile to carry the crate to the triangular plate. Lift the key separately to its device, realign the last bridge and reposition the ladder block to reach Cryogeddon. Return for the timed trial and Gleaming Sharpshooter skin.

Album Cover

At the top of Everbloom Tree, clear the puddle in the southeastern section. Open its reward before leaving the upper branches.

Blue Coin Challenge

From Depths of Mt. Spout, enter the blue pipe. Stabilize the upper bridge with Wave before taking the white-pipe segment of the route. Complete the groups for Galactic Atlas: Terra Flora.

Bridges and Blinkers

North of Everbloom Tree, grow and stabilize the purple bridge. Move the ladder block left, climb to the egg and destroy the eye. Scan the key’s crossing and ferry the square key on the ladder block to its device. Toggle the bridge tile from the safe return side, then use the scanned route and reposition the ladder block to reach the final chest.

Clandestine Cliffs

North of Central Station, inspect the world-edge cliffs for a ladder down. Break the cracked wall at the bottom with Wave and open the hidden propeller chest.

Corps de Battle

At the top of Everbloom Tree, defeat the Squashette guarding the round weapon chest. Collect the Wildwood Bowzooka skin afterward.

Bottlenecked

In Everbloom’s upper-right branch, smash the two Wave blocks to expose another crate. Find the second plate behind the cracked wall, then move one crate onto each plate to open the propeller reward.

Dive Into Darkmess

Inside Mt. Spout, scan beneath the large red diving decoration to reveal the route to the hidden puddle. Clear it and collect the Mt. Spout Memory beyond.

Efflorescent Gateway

After The Warrior and the Windbag, take the nearby ramp down to Madame Bwahstrella. Clear her dimensional challenge with Sparks chosen for its enemy lineup.

Green Coin Challenge

From the Everbloom Tree flag, take the southwestern ladder down to the ring. Follow all five successive groups, checking that the required local ladders and crossings are open before starting.

In Full Gloom

Clear the marked meadow puddle. Use the local enemies’ weaknesses and avoid grouping all heroes inside a single Magnafowl attraction radius.

Magikoopa the Magnificent

Return with twenty-eight Sparks to the golden pipe near Depths of Mt. Spout. Defeat the Giant Magikoopa with strong direct damage and protection; it resists elemental Super Effects. The first clear awards two Gold Prisms.

Magnafowl Hunt

Accept the hunt near the Mt. Spout approach and defeat three marked roaming Magnafowls on the lower and upper mountain routes. Use Ooze damage and stay outside their close-range attraction setup when possible.

Obstacles to Victor(y)

Inside Everbloom Tree, clear the large puddle north of the entrance. This opens access toward Victor’s fishing challenge rather than automatically completing that minigame.

Oozer Hunt

At Terra Flora Meadows, accept the farmer’s hunt and defeat three marked roaming Oozers. Gust and movement attacks help, while a Technique-blocked hero should not wait idle if its Dashes remain available.

Over the Hills and Far Away

Grow the bridge beside the Everbloom entrance and reach the barrier’s device. Use the ladder block and lift to transport the egg to the eye, then transfer the triangular key on those same platforms. Keep access to both controls while ferrying the key back to its device; carrying it into a dead end without a ladder route does not solve the barrier.

Red Coin Challenge

From Mt. Spout Station, go south to the cannon that reaches the red-ring route. Lower both ladders, then sprint through all eight red coins.

Swallowing Sound

Explore the small tunnel north of Everbloom Tree and clear the puddle at its far side.

The Riddle of the Engineer’s Guild

Find Professor Backpack’s toy railway inside Everbloom. Use the Wave lift and crate plates to open access to its track pieces, then swap straight and curved pieces until the entry connects to the exit. The full transport sequence is linked in the riddle guide.

The Sluggish and the Puckish

Beyond the Treasure Hunters route, grow the next bridge and clear the puddle with Rabbid Rosalina and Rabbid Luigi. Apply Ennui after your attacks and use the Discruptor on a formation with several valid targets.

The Warrior and the Windbag

Near Mt. Spout Station, destroy twenty Darkmess Eyes using Edge and Rabbid Mario. Move to line up several eyes per weapon action and keep at least one hero able to reach the next side. The rewards include Steampunk Blade and Edge’s Memory.

Toad Trouble on Terra Flora

Near Depths of Mt. Spout, clear the Toad’s puddle. Open the Techno Crab beyond it for The Druids’ Vista Memory.

Treasure Hunters

Take the cannon south of Central Station. Descend, lower the Wave block and scan the small cave for a crate. Move the crate onto the lift, raise it and push it onto the plate. Lower the block again from the accessible side to reach the reward.

Victor’s Terra Flora Invitational

First clear the approach through Obstacles to Victor(y), then complete Victor’s Sillyfish-throwing minigame. Throw into the highlighted pool and work a short loop around it rather than pursuing isolated distant fish.

Finish the return visit

Finish the twenty-six optional tasks, collect twelve Memories and repeat the Secret Zone under its timer. Scan cliff edges, dead ends and the Everbloom side branches for hidden propeller rewards. The golden pipe requires twenty-eight rescued Sparks and provides Gold Prisms for its boss clear, not for spending Planet Coins.
