Walkthrough
- Carry the Piranha Plant to the first Neon Bug swarm. Move its mouth through the moving swarm to catch the bugs within the time limit.
- Follow the course right, jumping past the Croakaokes. Approach the second swarm from a position that lets the plant’s mouth pass through its path rather than chasing individual bugs.
- Reach the linked circular branches and sweep through the final looping swarm. Catch all three groups before the timer runs out.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — First swarm
First swarm: clear the moving bug formation between the hanging vines with the carried Piranha Plant.
Smiley Flower 2 — Second swarm
Second swarm: complete the group near the Croakaoke platforms, keeping the plant’s mouth aligned with the bugs.
Smiley Flower 3 — Final swarm
Final swarm: clear the looping formation around the pair of circular branches. Completing this group supplies the final flower.
Creatures and additional discoveries
The plant’s mouth needs to touch the bugs; Yoshi’s body passing through them is insufficient. Use the swarm’s repeating path and catch the remaining bugs on the next pass rather than making a long detour.

- Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
