World 2-1
- Star Coin 1 At the beginning of the level, not to be overlooked.
- Star Coin 2 Right in front of the flag.

World 2-2
- Star Coin 1 Grab a Lakitu cloud and fly up where a single coin floats in the air.
- Star Coin 2 In the middle of the level you have to get the Star Coin with a Ground Pound.
- Star Coin 3 Shortly after the flag you have to go into the green tube. Press up to go directly into the yellow tube.
World 2-3
- Star Coin 1: Before you follow the arrow down, you can get up with a Wall Jump. There you will find the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 hovers over a piranha plant. Go around the outside and get the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 After the giant Piranha Plant you have to run to the far left and then choose the right path. Run quickly to the right to overcome the abyss. This is where the last Star Coin hovers.
- Secret Exit After the flag you have to change the water level with an orange switch. Swim up in the middle and you see another switch on the left. Activate this too to reach the tube on the right.
World 2-4
- Star Coin 1 Not to be overlooked.
- Star Coin 2 At the watering point you can swim through the path below. After the red tube you come to another section. Do not activate the switch and first run to the left of the coin.
- Star Coin 3 Not to be overlooked by the Hammer brothers.
- At the watering point you have to walk into the mini tube with a Mini Mushroom to the left.
World 2-Tower
- Star Coin 1 Just before the tube you will find a red ring. Go down here to the right to find the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 From the first Star Coin you go back to the left to the Ferris wheel. With a Wall Jump you reach the top left. Behind the door is an elevator by having to make a Wall Jump again and again. At the top is the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 Just before the boss fight, you will find a red switch. Jump against this and run to the left. With a second jump you reach the top and have to jump up against the wall to reach the Star Coin.
World 2-5
- Star Coin 1 You see a coin pillar. Jump on these funny pieces of wooden blocks and use it as a trampoline to reach the Star Coin further up.
- Star Coin 2 After the flag, you will find a switch in a block with the jumping flames. Again use the jumping wooden blocks to get up there. Activate the switch and run on the blocks to the left to Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 Before the end, you have to continue running to the right in the sand at Boomerang Bro. Then go down the blocks and use the creature again as a trampoline to reach the Star Coin.
World 2-6
- Star Coin 1 Not to be overlooked.
- Star Coin 2 not to be overlooked.
- Star Coin 3 Not to be overlooked.
World 2-A
- Star Coin 1 Not to be overlooked.
- Star Coin 2 Shortly before the goal, you can fly up on a rotating platform. The second coin floats in the air.
- Star Coin 3 Land from the second coin on the head of the Koopa Troopas to reach the yellow tube at the top. Behind this is the last Star Coin.
- Secret Exit Land from the second coin on the head of the Koopa Troopas to reach the yellow tube above. Follow the road to the red flag.
World 2-Castle
- Star Coin 1 Not to be overlooked.
- Star Coin 2 Not to be overlooked after the flag. Jump on a bullet bill to reach them.
- Star Coin 3 Get a Mini Mushroom and slip through the narrow gap.
- If you also master the boss fight as a Mini Mario, then you will get out in World 4.
