Additionally, there are some alternative Goal Poles and hidden paths to the Special World. These look partly like secret exits, but do not count as real secret exits. On this page we show you both variants.

Pipe-Rock Plateau – World 1
Piranha Plants on Parade
- Secret Exit
- Activate the Wonder Flower and first master the complete Piranha Plants on Parade.
- After the Wonder Seeds you reach a section with several sloping green tubes and blocks of music.
- Use the music blocks to jump on the raised tubes.
- At the top you can walk to the left to a hidden red tube.
- Enter the tube. You get to the forefront of the level.
- Then run to the right and past the normal target area.
- Follow the hidden path to the secret Goal Pole.
- Rewards
- At the secret destination you will receive the third Wonder Seed of the level.
- On the world map, a hidden path to a tube opens.
- The tube takes you to a remote platform where Captain Toad is waiting.
Bulrush Coming Through!
- Secret Exit
- Play behind the checkpoint. There you will find several hard blocks behind which the Wonder Flower is hidden.
- Lure a Bulrush against the blocks to destroy them and expose the Wonder Flowers.
- Activate the Wonder Flower. An entire herd of Bulrush now storms through the level.
- Jump to the herd and let her carry you to the right.
- The Bulrush even destroys the normal goal pole on the way.
- Stay on the herd and follow her up the big slope.
- Via the cloud platforms you will first reach the Wonder Seeds and directly behind the secret Goal Pole.
- Rewards
- You will receive the third Wonder Seed of the level.
- This secret output does not unlock an additional level on the world map.
Bulrush Express
- Preparation
- The easiest is the secret exit with the Elephant Transformation. Therefore, take an Elephant Fruit as reserve as possible.
- Alternatively, you can also open the path as a drill or with a suitable Koopa shell.
- Secret Exit
- The Wonder Flower at the beginning of the level is mandatory. Afterwards ride on the Bulrush herd through the complete course.
- At the end, the herd leaves the main path and you have to climb up to Wonder Seeds via several platforms.
- After the Wonder Seeds do not immediately go to the normal destination.
- On the right is a wall of brick blocks.
- Destroy them as an elephant. As a drill, you can alternatively dig under the wall.
- Behind the wall is a yellow tube.
- Enter her and you reach the secret goal pole.
- Rewards
- You will receive the third Wonder Seed of the level.
- The secret exit unlocks the hidden course “Sproings in the Twilight Forest” on the world map.
- Continue to follow this level chain via Cosmic Hoppos and Expert Badge Challenge Jet Run I to finally open access to the Special World.
Fluff-Puff Peaks – World 2
Outmaway Valley
- Secret Exit
- After the two yellow tubes you come to a large block of ice.
- Run a Ground Pound on the ice block. Inside is the Wonder Flower.

- Stay on the snow hill and don’t shake off.

Shining Falls – World 3
In Shining Falls there is no real secret exit. However, two places seem like hidden exits and are therefore worth mentioning.
The Final Trial: Zip Track Dash
- Alternative Goal Pole
- If you ignore the Wonder Flower after the checkpoint, you can continue to follow the normal rail route.
- This will take you to a second goal pole with a dark flag.
- However, this exit is not a real secret exit.
- You won’t get any additional Wonder Seeds there and won’t unlock the Royal Seed Mansion.
- The right path
- For the complete conclusion you have to collect the Wonder Flower.
- Then master the Wonder Effect and reach the other goal pole.
- Only this path will bring you the second Wonder Seed and open the Royal Seed Mansion.
Royal Seed Mansion — Access to the Special World
- Unlock Special World
- First complete the Shining Falls and get the Royal Seed.
- Enter the Royal Seed Mansion a second time.
- Talk to Master Poplin again.
- He leaves the villa and opens an additional path at the waterfall on the world map.
- Follow the new path to the propeller flower.
- She takes you to the Special World for „Shining Falls Special Triple Threat Deluge“.
Sunbaked Desert – World 4
Secrets of Shova Mansion
- Secret Exit
- Play the level first up to almost the normal goal.

Also in the Fungi Mines there is no real secret exit. In the ruins exist several alternative Goal Poles with dark flag. But they do not bring any additional Wonder Seeds.

- Complete the level chain on the Petal Isles until the “Wiggler Race: Wiggler Race Spelunking!”
- Defeat racing wigglers in cave racing.
- After your victory, a new path to the propeller flower opens on the world map.
- Use the propeller flower to get into the Special World.

Alternative Goal Poles – no real secret exits
Some levels have a second goal pole with a dark flag. These exits can easily be confused with a real secret exit. However, they do not give extra Wonder Seed.
- Jump! Jump! Jump! at Fluff-Puff Peaks
- Final test: Do not dawdle! in Shining Falls
- An Uncharted Area: Wubba Ruins in the Fungi Mines
- Another Uncharted Area: Swaying Ruins in the Fungi Mines
- A Final Uncharted Area: Poison Ruins in the Fungi Mines
These Goal Poles are not required for 100% completion. In the three expeditions of the Fungi Mines you have to partially bypass the supposed exit in order to continue the actual path.

The Special World has its own access for every normal world. Not all of them are unlocked via a classic secret exit.

For the full conclusion of Super Mario Bros. Wonder you should find all seven real secret exits. Each of these hidden Goal Poles will bring you an extra Wonder Seed. Some also open new levels or complete hidden chains of levels.
