In Super Mario Bros. Wonder has hidden Captain Toad in a total of 5 secret locations in the Flower Kingdom. You can not reach the locations directly via normal levels, but via hidden paths and tubes on the world maps.
At each meeting, Captain Toad gives you 50 Flower Coins. If you find all five hiding places, you can dust off a total of 250 Flower Coins. We show you all the locations and explain step by step how you reach them.

Captain Toad 1 – Petal Isles
Start: Pipe-Rock Plateau
- Conditions
- First, find the secret exit in the level “Piranha Plants on Parade”.
- Location
- Activate the Wonder Flower and master the singing Piranha Plants on Parade.
- After the Wonder Seeds you reach several sloping green tubes.
- Use the music blocks and jump on the raised tubes.
- Run up to the left and enter the hidden red tube.
- Follow the secret path until the second goal pole.
- After you finish the level via the secret exit, a new path appears on the world map.
- Follow the new path to the green tube.
- Enter them and you will be transported to a remote platform of the Petal Isles.
- Captain Toad is waiting there.
- Rewards
- Talk to Captain Toad and you’ll get 50 Flower Coins.
Captain Toad 2 – Fluff-Puff Peaks
Start: Pipe-Rock Plateau
- Conditions
- Play the Pipe-Rock Plateau until the upper part of the world map is accessible.
- If the path is still blocked by a rock, you pay the Poplin the required Flower Coins, so that he opens the way.
- Location
- Journey to the Badge Challenge Parachute Cap I.
- Go on the world map from there to the top right.
- Run right into the corner behind the scenes or behind the rocks and trees.
- There is a hidden green tube that is hard to see on the world map.
- Enter the tube.
- You will be taken to a remote viewpoint in Fluff-Puff Peaks.

Captain Toad 3 – Deep Magma Bog
Start: Pipe-Rock Plateau
- Location
- Journey to the intersection immediately before the Pipe-Rock Plateau Palace.
- Use the tube down there.
- You reach the violet underground area of the world map.
- Run right and pass „Angry Spikes and Sinkin‘ Pipes“.
- Then go further to the right to the upper right corner of this underground area.
- Behind the scenes is another hidden tube.
- Enter them.
- The tube takes you to a small isolated platform in the Deep Magma Bog.
- There you will find Captain Toad for the third time.

Captain Toad 4 – Fungi Mines
Start: Sunbaked Desert
- Conditions
- In the Sunbaked Desert, open the area at the level “Secrets of Shova Mansion”.
- For this, you first have to give the poplin 50 flower coins to repair the destroyed bridge.
- Location
- Stand on the world map at the Shova House.
- From there, go over the repaired bridge back to the left.
- Follow the narrow path down and then continue around the rocks.
- The road seems like a dead end at one point. Still go behind the scenes.

- Enter them.
- The tube takes you to a remote area of the Fungi Mines.

- On the open world map of the Sunbaked Desert are there three squares around the oasis? Switch.
- Step on all three switches.
- This opens the large stone gate with the question mark.
- Location
- Enter the newly opened secret area behind the? gate.
- Follow the path through this section of the world map.
- Among other things, pass through „Rolling-Ball Hall“.
- Run to the extreme end of the path.
- At the very back there is a hidden green tube behind the scenes.
- Enter them.
- You end up in a secret area of Shining Falls.
