All Poplin Shops

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder you will find numerous poplin shops throughout the Flower Kingdom. There you can exchange your Flower Coins for Wonder Seeds, Badges, Standees and 1-Up Mushrooms.

Some offers are particularly important for 100% completion. Buyable Wonder Seeds are among the total 225 Wonder Seeds and you get several badges exclusively in the stores. We will show you all the poplin shops and tell you which offers you should not miss.

Note: This guide refers to the original Nintendo Switch version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Pipe-Rock Plateau – Poplin Shop

The Wonder Seeds from this store is especially important. He is one of the 35 Wonder Seeds of the Pipe-Rock Plateau and cannot be found in a normal level.

Coin Reward

The Coin Reward badge ensures that defeated opponents leave additional coins. If you want to collect all the badges for 100%, you should buy it early.

Fluff-Puff Peaks – Poplin Shop 1

The first shop is located approximately in the middle of the cloud mountain range.

Add! Blocks

With this badge, additional! blocks appear in many levels. They can serve as platforms, contain items or significantly simplify difficult passages.

Fluff-Puff Peaks – Poplin Shop 2

The second shop is located further up in the northern area of the Cloudy Mountains.

Safety Bounce

The Safety Bounce badge is one of the most helpful badges in the game. If you fall into an abyss, lava or poison, you are automatically thrown back onto a safe platform.

Shining Falls – Poplin Shop

The shop can already be found in the lower part of Shining Falls near the first exams.

The buyable seed is one of the 20 Wonder Seeds of Shining Falls. If you are missing exactly one seed at the end of the world, you should therefore first control this shop.

Petal Isles – Poplin Shop 1

The first poplin shop is located in the western part of the Petal Isles and can be reached relatively early.

The Wonder Seeds is one of the 34 Wonder Seeds of the Petal Isles.

Petal Isles – Poplin Shop 2

The second store is located on the opposite side of the Petal Isles and becomes accessible in the course of the game.

Thus, in the two poplin shops of the Petal Isles alone, two of the 34 Wonder Seeds are located.

Sunbaked Desert – poplin shop at the oasis

The regular shop is located in the southern area of the Sunbaked Desert right next to the oasis.

Timed High Jump

This action badge is available exclusively from the normal cloudless desert poplin shop. If you jump several times in a row with the right timing, your jump will be higher. The effect even works on sand.

Secret Poplin Shop in the Sunbaked Desert

This store is the main hidden shop in the entire game. It is located in the northern part of the Sunbaked Desert in a hidden area near the palace.

Location of the secret poplin shop

Travel to the northern area of the Sunbaked Desert. To the left of the palace or near “Respite”: Break Time! Bouncy Tunes leads an inconspicuous path behind the scenes. Follow him to the hidden shop.

Three Wonder Seeds

The Secret Store is the only shop in the game that sells three separate Wonder Seeds. For all three you need together:

30 + 100 + 200 = 330 Flower Coins.

All three seeds are among the 36 Wonder Seeds of the Sunbaked Desert and are therefore necessary for 100%.

Fast Dash

For only ten Flower Coins, you can also buy the exclusive Fast Dash action badge. You run and run faster – even on sand.

Fungi Mines – Poplin Shop

The shop is located in the upper area of the Fungi Mines near the access to the underground ruins.

The Wonder Seeds from this store is one of the 21 Wonder Seeds of the Fungi Mines.

By the way, you will not get the sensor badge in the shop. It is a reward for repairing the bridge in the Fungi Mines.

Deep Magma Bog – Poplin Shop

The Poplin shop is located on the third level in the underground of the Deep Magma Bog. Follow the path to the right.

Coin Magnet

The exclusive Coin Magnet badge costs a whopping 300 Flower Coins. If you wear it, coins and flower coins are automatically attracted near you.

Since the badge is needed for one of the six 100% medals, you will have to buy it sooner or later.

Special World – Standees stores

In the Special World, there is no normal poplin shop with a Wonder Seed. Instead, you will find the particularly important Standees shop here.

Guaranteed Standees

For 30 Flower Coins, you can choose a specific character. You will then be guaranteed a standee of this character, which you do not yet own.

This shop is therefore the best place to get the last missing copies of the 144 Standees.

Buying 99 lives

After defeating Bowser, an additional package of 99 1-up mushrooms for 300 Flower Coins will be unlocked. For example, you can prepare for The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon.

New badges after victory over Bowser

After completing “The Final Battle!” Bowser’s Rage Stage will unlock four additional strengthening badges in almost all regular poplin stores:

• All Elephant Power – 100 Flower Coins
• All Fire Power – 100 Flower Coins
• All Bubble Power – 100 Flower Coins
• All Drill Power – 100 Flower Coins

With these badges, each collected list of power-ups automatically transforms you into the selected form.

If you want to own all 24 badges, you have to visit a poplin shop again after defeating Bowser and buy the four badges.

Which poplin offers are necessary for 100%?

If you’re Super Mario Bros. If you want to complete Wonder completely, you should pay attention to two types of offers.

Wonder Seeds

Buyable Wonder Seeds, like the seeds from normal levels, are among the 225 Wonder Seeds. If you lack a single seed in a world, you should always check the poplin shop first.

Particularly easy to miss are:

• The Wonder Seeds of the Pipe-Rock Plateau
• The two Wonder Seeds from the Petal Isles shops,
• The Three Wonder Seeds from the Secret Desert Shop
• The Wonder Seeds of the Fungi Mines and
• Wonder Seeds by Deep Magma Bog.

Badges

Several of the total of 24 badges are unlocked exclusively or mainly through poplin stores. For the badge medal, you have to buy these offers.

What should I buy first?

Flower Coins are limited to 999 pieces. Especially during the main story, you should therefore not buy everything indiscriminately.

Our recommendation:

1. Buy exclusive badges.
2. Buy Wonder Seeds if you want to complete a world 100%.
3. Only after that do many Flower Coins spend on Standees.
4. Only buy 1-up mushrooms when you really need them.

Especially the three Wonder Seeds in the secret desert shop cost together 330 Flower Coins. It is therefore worth putting aside some money for this.

Getting Flower Coins Fast

If you are missing for a Wonder Seed or a badge Flower Coins, you can play already completed levels again.

Good sources for additional flower coins are:

• normal small flower coins in the levels,
• already collected 10 flower coins – if collected again they give three flower coins,
• the five Captain Toad locations with 50 Flower Coins each,
• Level with many opponents along with the badge Coin Reward.

All five Captain Toad hideouts bring you 250 Flower Coins together.
