Kisse after the first visit: 3/5
This is the first area in the game where you cannot free all the pillows on the first visit. After the third pi’illo, you must first progress in the adventure and return here later.
To begin with, you’ll arrive at an area that serves as the central crossroads between Pi’illo Castle, Wakeport, Somnom Woods and Mushrise Park. A sign on the left shows you that the road leads south into the park. Just before you leave the area, you discover a masterless Crate. Their owner immediately appears and opens the Muschlonmart.
Here you can use a pi’illo latte to top up your HP and BP – even for free on the first visit – as well as buy items and equipment. Since you should have collected some coins since the last shop visit, a purchase is worthwhile. For the first time, gloves are also for sale here. Note, however, that you can wear either gloves or pants at this time, not both at the same time. Then we continue south.
In Mushrise Park itself, you will learn that a storm has blown numerous rocks into the area. The park manager also owns a petrified pi’illo, but refuses to give it away, and flees. Pursuit is not possible, as a gust of storm damaged the wings of a power generator. You must first recover them.
Go to the right first. There, a park worker tries to reach one of the generator wings lying on a rock. A little to the left of it you will discover the first fossilized pi’illo of the area. Enter the Dream World here.
Dream Mushrise Park – First Pi’illo
Run to the right and skip the rolling stones. At the end of the short section you will find the only nightmare fragment of this dream. Destroy him to free the first captured Pi’illo of the Mushroom Forest Park.
Mushrise Park
Back in the watch world, the liberated Pi’illo helps you to reach the higher level where the hammers are located. The park worker leaves them to you, and you can now switch to the hammer with the R button.
First destroy the rock to the left of you by pressing the A-key with a view of the crack in the stone. A little further to the right you reach the first wing of the generator. Then move to the left of the screen. Below the nervous block person next to the damaged plant, another cracked rock awaits. Behind it you will find the second wing next to an unconscious block person. Behind him you can smash additional stones from the crack side and expose several question mark blocks.
Now leave the screen down to destroy more rocks and take a question mark block. Then return to the previous area and talk to the panicked worker to the left of the broken fountain. Then hit the Color Switch on the purple machine with the hammer. The flowers on the left and right of the fountain bloom again and serve as platforms for you.
First, take the right flowers up to smash another rock and get a 1-up mushroom from a question mark block. Then you go back to the fountain, use the left flowers and leave the screen to the left.
Again, you will destroy more stones before jumping to the highest level at the top of the room and returning to the right of the previous screen, where another, generous question mark block awaits you. Then go back to the left and walk up to the Toad, which stands a little raised in front of two brittle rocks. Get them out of the way. Before you move on, head south to empty another question mark pad below a green male. Then it goes up to the viewpoint. Enjoy the view, then drop to the left of the platform and leave the area to the left to reach the second pi’illo of this area.
Dream Mushrise Park – Second Pi’illo
In this dream, you must once again destroy a nightmare splinter. Switch to the hammer with the R button and smash the approaching stones. Timing is crucial: don’t strike too early, as the hammer is heavy and Mario needs time for another blow. The stone ball should be a little less than a Mario length away when you strike. If you get hit, the sequence starts all over again. At the end of the corridor, you destroy the nightmare shard and free the second of five Pillow in Mushrise Park.
Mushrise Park – Attack Parts
Back in the park, you go to the left and destroy more stones at their clearly visible weak points until you reach a question mark block and a marion box. Take them both and then smash the stones on the bridge to return to the previous area. Here are two more rocks waiting before you leave the screen down. From now on you will meet Enemies.
Right at the beginning, a toad is attacked by spiky enemies. In the following battle, you will learn to use the hammer both offensively and defensively. You cannot jump on these Enemies, otherwise you will harm yourself. Initiates a hammer attack and presses the attack button again as soon as it flashes and sounds a sound to cause maximum damage. In countering, the principle works similarly. If a spine opponent performs his gyro attack, you can skip him while he races through among you.
As a reward, you will receive the first attack fragment. In total, there are nine more fragments in this area that give you a new Bros. Teaching attack. All fragments are marked on the map.
First moves to the left and collects the next fragment behind a pole. Since the pole is too high, you use the whiplash next to it. Stand on it, hammer once and jump against the crystal block for the second fragment. You repeat the same principle in the middle. There you have to hit the whiplash twice to reach the third fragment. Subsequently, destroy the stones that delineate the middle area and reach the fourth fragment in the lower left corner with the help of another mushroom. The fragment on the upper right is currently still unreachable – therefore leaves the area to the south.
Here follows a short fight against a capnap, which you quickly win with jump attacks. Read the sign to the seesaw mushrooms and then hammer down the right mushroom once to reach the upper area with the fifth attack fragment. If you leave this area to the right, a blockman tells you that you are not yet strong enough. The Toad from before tells you that he has found another fragment, but will not hand it over until you have collected the remaining nine.
Now return to the left. Jump over the short and long suspension bridges, empty the question mark block and head south to the seesaw mushrooms. Hammer the first one step down, jump to the whiplash and hit it twice to obtain the sixth fragment. Then hit the same mushroom three times to get to a particularly strong whiplash fungus that transports you to the upper area. Here you collect the seventh fragment, take the coin block on the right and return with the mushroom.
Run along the left under the quartet of seesaw mushrooms, use the whiplash and reach the eighth fragment with two hammer strokes. Afterwards you jump over the blue seesaw mushroom and hammer the high red mushroom so deep into the ground that the right red mushroom serves as a platform. Then you reach the ninth fragment. Then return to the eastern area where the Toad gives you the tenth and final fragment.
You now master the pair attack Red Shell 3D. Use the demo function to practice timing. Press the attack button shortly before the tank reaches the brother – press too late, crash and the attack breaks off.
Shortly thereafter, a capnap attacks, which allows you to use the new attack directly. Note that Bros. Attacks consume BP. Subsequently cleanse the area of all naps and spikes, use the seesaw mushrooms in the upper area to reach both question mark blocks, and destroy the rocks on their brittle side underneath. Then leave the screen to the right.
You leave the next area immediately to the north, where you meet the park manager Brickle again. He owns one of the pillows, but is stuck in the fountain – and needs your help again.
Getting Brickle out of the fountain
Open the gate with the hammer in the north to make a connection back to the first parking areas. In the northwest, a green warp pipe leads under the plant. Follow the underground path and hit the brittle wall. Behind her it goes over the platform to the right, back down and left to the next Crystal block. South of it you will find the machine for the well.
The machine shows three roles. Strike the hammer as soon as a blue symbol appears on the left reel. Repeat it for the middle and right roles. When all three symbols are blue, you set liberation in motion. Follow Brickle into his field of work, save and examine the southwestern area for the cheap hammer. To the right of the administrator begins the fight against Grobot.
Boss: Grobot
Attack with jump or hammer; the crucial thing is that you meet the second input safely. You skip the small water bubbles just before contact. With the big bubbles you stop: they jump over the brothers. If you jump towards them, you make a hit out of a harmless bubble.
When Grobot runs out of the picture and storms back, you counter with the attacked brother’s hammer. Its backward-looking variant only accelerates during the onslaught; therefore, stick to its distance and not to a constant beat.
In pursuit, Mario and Luigi run in front of the robot. Watch his arms: The preparation reveals which brother must skip a water bubble. If he uses both arms, both jump. If you survive the route, Grobot himself rams an obstacle. After that, use the next safe attack windows until victory.
After the fight, the bed is ready in the northeast. There begins the next big dream mushrise park with Traumworth and the Dream’s Deep.Dreamy Mushrise Park
