Recover Wario’s treasure through four worlds, each containing two main levels and a world-boss showdown. Start at Excitement Central, continue through Spooktastic World and Thrillsville, then finish Sparkle Land and open the huge treasure chest for the final battle.
Worlds in order
- Excitement Central: Greenhorn Forest, Greenhorn Ruins and DinoMighty.
- Spooktastic World: Horror Manor, Wonky Circus and Dual Dragon.
- Thrillsville: Shivering Mountains, Beanstalk Way and Red-Brief J.
- Sparkle Land: Mirror Mansion, Pecan Sands, Captain Skull and the Black Jewel.
Collectibles and level completion
Each main level contains eight treasures, eight red diamonds, eight Gold Statue pieces and five Spritelings. Activate a colored treasure button to reveal the chest on the matching treasure pad. The button and chest are often in different places, so return to a pad after activating its color rather than assuming an empty pad has no reward.
Red diamonds come from the trapdoor sub-levels. The Stone Doohickey at the goal only needs some of them to let you reach the boss; entering that fight does not mean that all the level’s collectibles have been found. Check the pause-screen inventory before leaving. Gold Statue pieces improve Wario’s maximum health, while rescuing all forty Spritelings earns the best castle ending.
Moves needed along the route
Use a Ground Pound to open ordinary wooden trapdoors. Steel trapdoors require a Piledriver while carrying a stunned enemy. Keep a suitable enemy nearby until you have opened the door. Use the Wild Swing-Ding for rotating mechanisms and the Corkscrew Conk to gain height or reach a flying target. Buy garlic before a difficult section when your health is low.
The chapter routes cover progression, useful collectible detours and the boss openings. The level inventory remains the reference for tracking a full collection run.
