Clear Horror Manor and Wonky Circus to open Dual Dragon’s Showdown. The manor introduces reflective and mechanical obstacles, while the circus adds tight jumps, moving platforms and enemies used as projectiles.
Horror Manor
Rescue the red Spriteling near the start, then wait out Big Bone-Fist’s slam before counterattacking. Activate the red treasure button and use the Glue Globe route to reach the yellow button. Open the nearby trapdoor for a diamond and a Gold Statue piece.
After the Crystal Entity, use a stunned enemy on the Swirly Slab to raise it with the Wild Swing-Ding. Check the elevated route for the next statue piece. In the graveyard, open the revealed treasure chest and search the lower trapdoor for the yellow Spriteling and another diamond. Handle the next Bone-Fist with the same dodge-and-counter pattern.
Return to the raised structure and search the left-hand ledges before continuing inside. A Glue Globe on the side provides access to the green chest. In the associated trapdoor room, wait until the moving platforms provide a stable landing instead of jumping while they are badly tilted.
Activate the blue button near the later Crystal Entity and reach the balcony to rescue the green Spriteling. Destroy the Door Spirit blocking the entrance while avoiding its attack. Inside, collect the treasure and activate the next button. Continue past the next doorway to the blue Spriteling.
Before dropping through the floor opening, search the ledge to the left for a statue piece. After the battle, explore the right-hand route for the chest. The basement’s spike traps hide more trapdoors: watch their timing, pass safely and complete the rooms before climbing onward.
Use the Glue Globe mechanisms to reach the later buttons and return along the matching chest routes. Search the final steel trapdoor for the remaining statue piece and diamond, then rescue the purple Spriteling near the goal. Check the inventory before entering the boss arena.
Boss: Brawl Doll
Brawl Doll cannot always be reached with ordinary ground punches. Use a Corkscrew Conk or a column to knock it out of the air, then pick it up while stunned and perform a Mad Move. Move away from its wing attacks and laser sequence between openings. Five Mad Moves finish the encounter.
Wonky Circus
Check the platforms to the left of the opening route, rescue the red Spriteling and activate the red button. Collect the exposed chest and nearby statue piece before entering the first trapdoor. The following rooms and raised platforms contain more diamonds, so do not treat the main circus path as the only route.
At an Electric Clown Fence, stun a clown and throw it at the target to lower the obstruction. Repeat the required hits while watching the remaining enemies. Beyond the fence, complete the trapdoor room and handle the Crystal Entity before using the large rotating platform.
Wait for the platform to bring a usable landing into reach. Cross to the trampoline section, activate the yellow button and use the Glue Globe to rescue the yellow Spriteling. Search the side route for the matching treasure and the trapdoor below the tent area.
Climb the ladder in the later tent, defeat the enemies in the way and search the platforms above the main path. Rescue the green Spriteling around the trapdoor detour, then activate the blue button and continue to the blue Spriteling. Check the separate platforms for the instrument treasures rather than dropping straight to the goal route.
Activate the final purple button and search the ledges to the left for the late chest and statue piece. Complete the remaining trapdoor rooms and rescue the purple Spriteling before entering the boss fight. Use the inventory to distinguish a missing chest from an unvisited diamond room.
Boss: Clown-a-Round
Clown-a-Round travels between two platforms on a large ball. Use a Glue Globe when you need to follow, but watch for the ball’s explosive landing. The small alcoves provide shelter if you cannot cross in time.
Wait for the outer heads to be thrown away and the real face to become exposed. Stun the boss, pick it up and use a Mad Move. Keep track of the loose heads as the fight continues; clearing one opening does not make the surrounding platform safe.
Dual Dragon’s Showdown
The two heads can damage each other. When one prepares to breathe fire, repeatedly attack the other head to stun it in the fire’s path. That removes a health skull. Avoid the tails while approaching and stay out of the Glue Globes that can pull Wario toward the harmful water.
As the fight progresses, watch for embers dropping into the lower arena as well as the main flame. Repeat the stun-and-fire opening five times to earn the second key piece and continue to Thrillsville.
