Thrillsville

Wario World guide hub

Thrillsville begins with Shivering Mountains, where slides can carry you past a collectible route before you can turn back. Use the ByeBye Balloons for another pass when needed. Beanstalk Way then leads to the world boss, Red-Brief J.

Shivering Mountains

Use the Bunny Spring to reach the first treasure button. On the opening slide, take the left route toward the higher trees and search the middle treetop for a Gold Statue piece. Enter the chimney-like trapdoor for the first diamond. At the bottom, activate the next button and check the small igloo for the red Spriteling.

Against Angler Mangler, stun one of the smaller enemies and use a Piledriver beneath the lamp. Move clear of its ice attacks before picking up the next body. After the next slide, check the left-hand ledge for a statue piece, then explore the plateau and treetops before taking the Glue Globe route to another trapdoor.

Inside the ice cave, use the Icicle Mites to create a way upward. Piledrive them into the ground, then use their backs as footing. Open the chest whose button you activated earlier before dropping to the next section.

In the steel-trapdoor puzzle, adjust the platform controls until you have a usable crossing. Wait for the moving platform to align before jumping. Later, use the local enemies to break the ice, then search both the ordinary and steel trapdoors. The green Spriteling lies on one of those side routes.

Keep checking the paths behind the colored buttons. An enemy or carried object lets you reach a button Wario cannot safely activate from the normal footing. Return toward the earlier button position to collect the revealed green chest, then continue along the right-hand route for the next treasure.

Climb the later ladder for the blue Spriteling, statue pieces and the upper chest route. Search the trapdoor to the right before the next battle area. On the final slides, choose the collectible line deliberately: a statue piece and the purple Spriteling are easy to pass. If the inventory shows a missing piece, use a balloon for another run rather than starting the boss with an unfinished collection.

Boss: Winter Windster

Pick up one of the dropped boulders and throw it into a magma opening when Winter Windster is above it. The eruption knocks it down, creating a chance to stun it and use a Mad Move. Repeat the process until its five health skulls are gone.

Move away from the freezing breath and jump the ground waves. When its eyes glow red, turn away instead of looking directly at it. If Wario becomes inflated, shake the Control Stick to recover before drifting onto the surrounding spikes.

Beanstalk Way

Open the flower buds and use their mechanisms to climb. Explore the first left branch for a Spriteling and button, then use the next raised bud to reach a statue piece. Activate the red button on the following side branch before following the lower branches toward the chest.

Complete the nearby trapdoor room, then climb to the Tree Freak. Knock down its fruit, make it safe to carry and throw it back to defeat the obstacle. Continue through the next trapdoor for another diamond and statue piece.

The later route combines magnets, branching stems and treasure buttons. Activate a button before leaving its branch, then trace the matching chest pad on the adjacent route. Search above and below each large junction: the Gold Statue pieces are not confined to the path that leads directly onward.

Rescue the Spritelings on the side branches and complete the trapdoors before continuing to the goal. If a colored treasure remains missing, revisit that color’s branch and pad rather than repeating every platform section. The level’s final fight is Spideraticus.

Boss: Spideraticus

Stay off the sticky web when you need to jump. Avoid the homing attacks and jump the shockwaves from safe footing. If the thin web catches Wario, use a Dash Attack to break free instead of letting the boss pull you into biting range.

When Spideraticus spits the Glue Globes, grab one and ride it toward the boss as it is drawn back. Release at the right moment and Ground Pound the vulnerable top. Reset to the outside footing before the next attack cycle.

Red-Brief J’s Showdown

Direct attacks do not damage Red-Brief J. Dodge the charge so that he reaches the edge and teeters, then Ground Pound the arena to knock him into the lava. Repeating that opening removes his five health points.

Watch the energy charge that announces the next move rather than attacking through it. Move away from a diving or spinning approach. When the high jump tilts the arena into the lava, stand on the safe middle portion. Keep enough space to reach the correct footing before trying to set up the next charge.

The third key piece opens Sparkle Land.
