Cross Kitchen Island, steal the pirates’ fifteen hidden treasures and build Wario’s fortune before facing Captain Syrup. This walkthrough covers the original Game Boy version of Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
Follow the numbered course routes below, including the five alternate goals. Sherbet Land is optional for reaching the ending, but contains three treasures and several courses needed for a complete run. Revisit Rice Beach after its tide rises and Course 31 after the lake drains to collect the treasures that were previously out of reach.

Saving and preparation
The game saves when you clear a course. A skull checkpoint inside a course costs a 10 Gold Coin to activate. Keep enough money for the exit as well. Hearts add heart points toward extra lives; they are not a health meter. Taking damage shrinks Wario, and another hit then costs a life.
Jet Wario helps with long gaps and submerged blocks. Bull Wario breaks floor blocks and can cling to ceilings. Dragon Wario burns blocks from the side, including several key obstructions. Preserve the form required by the next treasure, and set carried keys down before trying an attack.
