Walkthrough
- Pull a Swirm out of its spiral to extend its spring-like body. Bounce from its end and watch the direction of the launch; horizontal and diagonal arrangements send Yoshi along different paths.
- At the second waterfall, chain two spring bounces to climb. At the third, use the larger Swirm to reach the nut overhead.
- Complete the timed token line and the reflected-egg puzzle before entering the tall finishing shaft.
- Extend the Swirms in the shaft and bounce from one to the next. Link the three near the top, then reach the enormous final Swirm for the launch that completes the Big Discovery.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — First waterfall
First waterfall: extend the Swirm and use its bounce towards the flower at the waterfall's foot.
Smiley Flower 2 — High nut
High nut: launch from the large Swirm and break the nut in the leaves with the impact.
Smiley Flower 3 — Timed line
Timed line: activate the red ! Switch and use a horizontally extended Swirm to collect every blue token.
Smiley Flower 4 — Reflected eggs
Reflected eggs: throw eggs onto the horizontal large Swirm so they rebound into the high opening.
Smiley Flower 5 — Ceiling rocks
Ceiling rocks: extend a Swirm diagonally and Ground Pound its end to launch into the breakable ceiling.
Creatures and additional discoveries
A stretched spring is also a projectile reflector. Try ordinary bounces and Ground Pounds separately, and compare launch directions before taking a long jump. Later events introduce new interactions, so a clear of the tall shaft does not finish the whole creature entry.
