Walkthrough
- Carry and throw Slugarang. Its hard body follows an arc and returns, so line up targets for both the outgoing and returning paths.
- Clear the early leaves to reveal the Golden Bug and a Croakaoke. Use the bounce to reach the upper platforms and knock the nut down.
- Break the crate by the waterfall and enter the cave. Throw Slugarang through the low gap beneath the wooden platform to collect the flower Yoshi cannot reach.
- For the Big Discovery, return to the large rock wall by the vines. Remove every leaf cluster, including the high and side ones, to reveal the complete wall picture.
Smiley Flower locations
The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.
Smiley Flower 1 — Dropped nut
Dropped nut: hit the leaves above the curved platform, then break the nut that falls out.
Smiley Flower 2 — Low cave gap
Low cave gap: clear the entrance crate and throw Slugarang under the wooden platform.
Smiley Flower 3 — Blue fish
Blue fish: time the throw to cross the fish's jump at the foot of the waterfall.
Smiley Flower 4 — Central tree
Central tree: clear the upper leaves, then use balloon plants and Flooflys to reach the high flower.
Creatures and additional discoveries
Watch the return path before moving Yoshi away. A returning throw can fetch items through gaps where an egg would be lost. On the upper-left cave route, strike the hard Jewel Bug to break its shell and expose its gem.
Before leaving
- Check the habitat’s flower counter against the locations above.
- Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
- Review the creature’s book entry for an unrecorded interaction or a later discovery event.
