Level 1-1
Star Medal 1: Go to the forefront of the level from the start. Run along the beach, and you see a rope excited. Climb on this and you reach the first Star Medal.
Tip: At the right edge of the level, a Crate locks a secret cave. If you go through here, you will find a 1-Up mushroom.
Star Medal 2: At the flag you have to climb up the tree on the left. This leads you to a floating platform with a warp pipe. This leads you to a 3D puzzle. Stand on the Color Switch and then get the second Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: Shortly before the target is a note platform on the left. Jump up these to get to the colorful platforms. Follow the path and the rope that is strained. Over it hovers the last Star Medal
Level 1-2
Star Medal 1: Not to be overlooked. Just stick to the outer edge of the rotating platform.
Star Medal 2: After the flag, you have to stay in the foreground in the next area. There are two platforms floating over an abyss. Use these to reach the Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: With the three large spiked balls, you will see the last Star Medal in the background. Either jump back with the Tanooki Suit or walk back in the background at the end of the bridge to reach it.
Secret exit: After the flag, you can see coins in the section with the two coopas on the front left. Jump under this to find a secret crystal block with a star. Now jump on this Block and from there into the background. After a few attempts you should land on the wall. Follow the path to the orange Warp Pipe, which takes you directly to World 2.
Level 1 box
Star Medal 1: Just destroy the two cardboard Goombas and then collect the coin.
Level 1-3
Star Medal 1: Go right to the telescope from the starting point and peek right up the mountain. The Toad throws you a Star Medal, which you just have to collect. It’s hovering right over the notepad.
Star Medal 2: After the flag, you will find a rainbow-colored block of notes on the right at the exit. This takes you to the clouds, where you will find another Star Medal at the end of the way.
Star Medal 3: If you have collected the second one. Turn around and go back up the mountain. Make sure you have a raccoon suit. A leaf is hidden at the top of the pile. From there you slowly float from cloud to cloud. A little deeper you can then recognize the Star Medal, to which you have to float.
Level 1-4
You first have to buy this level for three Star Medals.
Star Medal 1: Let the first water jet shoot you onto the higher track. There you will also find the Star Medal.
Star Medal 2: On the platform after the flag, you first have to go to the bottom. Then drive the platform to the far left. Shortly before the end of the train floats the Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: On the second platform after the flag you will soon come to two water jets. Let the first shoot you on the track above you (left). There is also the last Star Medal.
Level 1 lock
Star Medal 1: With the first gear, the Star Medal hovers in the middle above the lava circle.
Star Medal 2: Directly after the flag comes a fire jet that spins. At the top right is the Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: In the second Whomp you have to use the Wall Jump in the gorge and slowly crawl up. In addition to the Star Medal, a 1-Up mushroom on the left is also waiting for you.
