Level 5-1

Level 5-2
Star Medal 1: At the point where the barbed carousel is located, you can jump on a raised front. Here is the first Star Medal.
Star Medal 2: If you walk right out of the carousel, you come into a new room. Light all four torches with the Fire Flower to open the gate to Star Medal. At the beginning of the level, you can find a Fire Flower between the two? blocks in a secret crystal block.
Star Medal 3: At the end of the long aisle with the barbed rollers, the Star Medal floats up in the air.
Level 5-3 (40 star coins)
You must first unlock this level for 40 Star Medals.
Star Medal 1: After the Bowser flag, it hovers above a platform.
Star Medal 2: Climb the big wire to the top and jump onto the rainbow-colored platform. At the end of the bonus level, you will receive the next Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: With the simultaneous platforms, you are best on the left. After a while, you’ll find the Star Medal at the bottom left and a few donut platforms to get you back on track.
Level 5-4
Star Medal 1: Right at the beginning of the level, you can find a small stone to shoot. Behind it you will find a way up that you normally cannot reach. So jump something in the background to activate three hidden blocks and get on the higher way.
Star Medal 2: Shortly afterwards, after two stages, you will find a small column where you can crawl through. This column leads you directly to Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: At about the end of the level you have to crawl right through the column to get the Star Medal and the 100 extra seconds.
Level 5-5
Star Medal 1: After jumping up the trampoline platform, you will find the Star Medal on the left between the two major platforms in the column.
Star Medal 2: After the flag, you come to three trampoline platforms. In the middle of these floats the Star Medal.
Star Medal 3: With the many individual objects in front of the flag, the Star Medal hovers at the beginning.
Level 5 Castle (50 Star Medals)
You have to unlock this level for 50 Star Medals first.
Star Medal 1: With the three stone blocks, you will find the Star Medal on the middle one. You can reach them well with Wall Jump.
Star Medal 2: Shortly afterwards you will find the next Star Medal at the very beginning of the lava grids.
Star Medal 3: The last Star Medal is right behind the next two stone blocks after the flag.
