After completing the main story, you can collect a total of 40 Yoshi Eggs in Super Mario Advance / Super Mario Bros. 2. There are two eggs hidden in each level. They are always located in Subspace behind a door – usually in the places where you previously found a mushroom, but often higher up or harder to reach.

- Yoshi Egg 2: At the end of the level in Subspace.

- Yoshi Egg 1: On the potion door in the underground.
- Yoshi Egg 2: Above the second mushroom position.

- Yoshi Egg 1: Near Birdo – above the original mushroom.
- Yoshi Egg 2: In the vertical section in front of the boss.

- Yoshi Egg 1: In the desert part at the first Subspace.
