Smiley Flowers 5

Walkthrough

  1. Eat individual Bunchabees to make eggs, then clear the wooden obstruction. Hit the Winged Cloud to build the first platform route.
  2. The Big Discovery requires all five stolen Smiley Flowers. Eggs can break clusters and scatter a swarm. Carrying a Crazee Dayzee gives you a second option: lure the bees towards flowers and collect their prize while they are distracted.
  3. Climb from the coloured platforms into the vine section. Explore below and to the left of the vines for the Golden Bug before climbing towards the low cave entrance.
  4. Crouch into the upper-right cave. Clear the upper-left clusters above the vines and rescue the remaining flower. Check the book after the fifth rescue to finish the habitat.

Smiley Flower locations

The locations are listed separately from the main route so you can check a missing flower without repeating every step.

Smiley Flower 1 — Winged Cloud platforms

Winged Cloud platforms: clear the swarm on the longer platform.

Smiley Flower 2 — Cliff below the small cave

Cliff below the small cave: distract the guards with a Crazee Dayzee, or approach while concealed in the mud.

Smiley Flower 3 — Vines

Vines: climb from the right yellow platform to the higher orange platform and cross the vines.

Smiley Flower 4 — Upper-right cave

Upper-right cave: crawl through the low opening with a Crazee Dayzee to draw the swarm away.

Smiley Flower 5 — Above the vines

Above the vines: break the hanging clusters and clear the swarm on the long upper-left platform.

Creatures and additional discoveries

Before defeating every bee, test apples, hot peppers and honey. A pepper makes the swarm aggressive and changes what it can damage; flowers or honey can calm it. Guide bees onto nuts and compare a direct rescue with a rescue made without attracting their attention. Some later discoveries require returning before a swarm escapes with a flower.

Before leaving

  • Check the habitat’s flower counter against the locations above.
  • Finish the main objective before entering the sparkly exit.
  • Review the creature’s book entry for an unrecorded interaction or a later discovery event.
