The First Ninji
Finding the ninjas is an optional task in Paper Mario: The Origami King. If you’re at Shogun Studios, you’ll need to take a detour to Ninja Course to find the Shogun Studios Key.
In the entrance area you have to hammer against the right wall to get access to the first room. Here you have to open the Crate at the bottom left and pull out the Toad so that the northern mural lifts a bit. Now draw on the mural and go into the next room.
Go to the northeastern corner of the room and hit the northern wall – it turns and transports you to a new corridor. Follow it to the left and you reach the courtyard. Here you have to jump north over the fence and go to the stone lantern next to the pond. Strike with the hammer against the stone lantern and open a passageway to the left building.
- Ninja #1: In the entrance area you have to hit against the right wall. You cannot miss this ninja.
- Ninja #2: In the second room you have to hammer on the ashes in the middle.
- Ninja #3: Also strikes the lamp that is on the lower right in the corner.
- Ninja #4: Open the crate at the bottom left and pull out the ninja.
- Ninja #5: Pushes the sliding door on the left wall to the side.
- Ninja #6: Pushes the right sliding door aside at the top and pulls the rope behind it.
- Ninja #7: Then move the left sliding door to the side.
- Ninja #8: Pulls on the rope next to the mural.
Find Luigi
Free the Toads if necessary and then go down the stairs into the engine room. In the engine room, Luigi is stuck between gears. Fix the path and climb down the ladder at the end. Strike the hammer against the gear on the right to turn it and free Luigi. From Luigi you get the Shogun Studios key.
Now return to the normal path and go to the next room with the skewers coming out of the floor. On the north wall, a striking square on the ground reveals the location of an invisible? block. Then make your way to the northwest wall and hit it with the hammer. Draw on the rope behind it and a staircase appears that transports you to the attic.
Via the attic you finally reach the penultimate room, in which a large closet with many drawers stands. Skin with the hammer on the striking floor plank on the right side and the cabinet then forms into a staircase. Then hammer several times against the drawer that sticks out slightly and you get a treasure mini #50. Save the game and then jump up.
In the last room you have to defeat a lot of ninjis and then activate the thwomp with the folding circle. Then go straight ahead to avoid the stone blocks. Then the end is reached. If you have found all ninja listings, you will receive a treasure mini #51 as a reward. Outside, the throwing star sign moves over you again. Jump onto the platform to get to the right side for a treasure mini #52.
- Ninja #9 – #13: Draw on the mural to get into the next room. There are floor plates here that turn around when you feed them. Simply run off all floor panels to discover 5 ninja displays. Under some floor plates are unfortunately also annoying ninjis, which you have to fight.
- Ninja #14: Hit the wall in the northeastern corner. The wall turns and you get into a new corridor. To the right of the wall hangs an inconspicuous rope from which you have to pull.
- Ninja #15 – #20: After crossing the corridor outside, you get to a room where spits rise from the ground as you feed on the edges of the floor plates. You have to carefully find a way to the top left wall. There are a total of 6 ninjas. One is behind you at the entrance, one is in the middle, one is on the west side, and two at the skewers at the southern exit. Strike against the wall in the northwest and pull on the rope to reveal the last ninja.
- Ninja #21: Then climb the stairs to reach the attic. Strike the striking grey stone south of you.
- Ninja #22: Follow the beam to the east side and hit the slightly open wall.
- Ninja #23: When you are at the bottom, you have to jump carefully over an abyss and you see a treasure chess on the right. Invisible blocks pave a way to the chest where a ninja is hidden.
- Ninja #24: Closes the door in the next and penultimate room.
- Ninja #25: After hitting the striking floor plank on the right, you have to hammer against the slightly extended drawer. Repeat this until you receive the treasure mini “Luigi”. Then hit the drawer one last time and the last ninja shows up.
