Mystery in the Temple of Chamses
Enter the Temple of Chams and first cross the entrance area. Some spiders are lurking here, but you can easily avoid them. In the next room you have to fight.
The northern passage is closed. On the left and right are two Toad statues with stone slabs. If you jump on the right plate, a message appears, but it does not help you.
Instead, dig in the sand southwest of the left statue. This creates a folding circle with which you can pull up stairs to the left statue. While Professor Toad decodes the inscription, you stand on the right plate. This opens the way to the next area.
In the following corridor the shadow of a faceless being appears again and again. However, the path is linear, so you can not miss anything here.
Chambers of mystery and hidden treasures
In the next room you will fight against two Pappmacho Goombas. Be careful not to hit with the hammer next to it, otherwise there will be holes in the ground. If this happens, simply activate the switch in the north to repair the platform again.
After that, you must rescue a faceless Toad who is attacked by small spiders. Side rooms contain several rewards:
- On the left there is a treasure chest with the CD “Herzblatt-Hop”.
- On the right are two chests – one contains a treasure mini, the other a toad.
Back in the main room, another mystery awaits. Activate the four switches in the correct order. The note reads “Sarcophagus 1423”. The correct order is:
- upper left
- lower left
- top right
- lower right
This opens the next passage.
The DJ and the Lost CDs
After freeing more toads from cobwebs, you reach the dance floor in the center of the temple. This is a DJ playing music. However, the boss on the upper floor is dissatisfied and demands better beats.
You have to find several CDs in the temple.
Go down the southern stairs into a room full of sarcophagi. Push the statue with the fire bowl up to clear the way. On a sarcophagus lies the CD “Maxipower”.
In the next room, a Shy Guy tries to steal the last CD. Hit the CD with the hammer so that a folding circle appears. With its help you can secure the CD „Schauer-Thrill“.
Return this CD to the DJ. Then he gives you a portable CD player. With this you can lead the 40 faceless toads in the temple to the dance floor.
Boss fight against hole punch
Once all the toads are on the dance floor, the temple’s boss appears: Hole Punch.
His attacks leave holes on the battlefield. You should avoid these fields. The weakness of the boss is the black flap on his back.
So build a path that leads behind the boss and attack the flap with your strongest hammer.
Later, Hole Punch prepares a powerful special attack. Then activate the ON switch and call the Earth Vellumental. This avoids the attack and the boss bounces against a rock face.
In this condition, he is briefly dazed and can suffer great damage. Repeat this strategy until you shut up completely and defeat Hole Punch.
