The Princess Peach

Paper Mario: The Origami King guide hub

The Road to the Ship

In Sweetpaper Valley, King Olly blocks your path by burying Olivia under a massive rock. However, Bobby has an idea how you can free her. For this he needs a special item – a fuse – which should be on the cruise ship The Princess Peach.

Return to the boat and return to Shogun Studios. Use the blue warp pipe to Toad Town. In the port to the east of the city, you will meet a toad on a boat that takes you to the wide ocean. The prerequisite is that you have freed him beforehand on the Autumn Mountain. This is the blue origami fish in front of the cable car.

Once you’re on the wide ocean, just head north until you reach The Princess Peach.

The VIP Cabin

The Princess Peach looks abandoned and severely damaged. Bobby suspects that the sought-after fuse is in the VIP cabin.

Before entering the ship, you should explore the outer deck. To the right of the pool, a staircase leads down. Behind this staircase is a secret path to a treasure mini. Then you can reach the upper deck via the stairs, where a chest with a HP-Max-Plus awaits you, which increases your HP by 20.

Enter the ship through the door to the foyer. Here is an elevator that leads to the VIP cabin. However, it does not work, as the ship has no electricity.

Therefore, follow the left aisle into the lounge. There is a shelf under the big picture on the northern wall. Strike against it with the hammer so that it falls over. This allows you to jump to the windows. Smash the window and climb outside on the bow of the ship.

Now head south to another door that takes you inside Deck 2. On the right you see a ladder – remember this place. Go up the stairs first and enter the door to the bridge on the left. There is a showcase in this room. Smash them with the hammer to get a gate handle.

Then go back downstairs and follow the stairs to the loading deck. Through the right door you reach the engine room. Use the gate handle here and turn it with the hammer to restore power to The Princess Peach.

Now the elevator in the foyer also works. Go upstairs and enter the VIP cabin on the left. There you discover a yellow box with the fuse you are looking for – but a Pappmacho giant blooper suddenly appears and grabs the Crate.

Follow the enemy outside to the bow of the ship.

Boss fight Blooper

The fight against the Pappmacho giant Blooper does not take place in a ring arena, but directly on the deck of The Princess Peach.

In the first phase, the blooper generates large waves. Jump over these and then quickly attack the tips of his tentacles with the hammer, on which are Olly’s stickers. After a few hits, the blooper additionally sprays you with ink, which makes your view difficult.

Once all tentacles are destroyed, the blooper jumps onto the deck. He continues to attack with waves and ink. If he turns wildly in a circle, he becomes dizzy afterwards. Use this moment to destroy the sticker on his left eye with the hammer.

Repeat this strategy until the boss is defeated. After that, Bobby gets the yellow box with the fuse back.

Back in the Sweetpaper Valley, Bobby implements his plan. Inside the yellow box was a fuse, which he now uses to blow up the rock and free Olivia. Bobby sacrifices himself and you can enter the Breezy Tunnels.Breezy Tunnel
