Find entrance to the Spring of Rainbows
After visiting all four sources in Shangri-Spa, Bowser Jr. is reassembled but has lost his paint. To heal him completely, you need to find the secret Spring of Rainbows.
Go back to the reception of Shangri-Spa and show your fully stamped card. As a reward, you will receive the VIP thermal ticket.
The entrance to the secret source is located in the west of Shangri-Spa. Walk left past the Koopa clan clan clan cleaning the fence and discover a hidden passageway there. Go down the stairs and show your ticket for access.
In the following cave you must first overcome several obstacles. Dodge the steam fountains and use the platforms to get ahead. Also hit some rock tips with the hammer from the Blanket, so that stronger steam fountains are created and you can reach higher platforms.
In a treasure chest you will find a HP-Max-Plus here. Then you can leave the cave through the right exit.
„Shy Guys Finish Last“ quiz show
Before you reach the source, an unusual challenge awaits you: a quiz show called “Shy Guys Finish Last”.
To win, you have to collect a total of 100 points in four different mini-games.
Turn and shift the ring fields so that Mario reaches the opponent. The third stage is particularly tricky. Use your console’s capture button to take a screenshot of the situation and give you more time to think.
Here you have to remember in which order four opponents run through the target. Pay close attention to the target photo or also use a screenshot.
Search the Ninjis Several opponents hide under boxes. Remember their positions closely. At the highest level you have to find four ninjis. Focus on recognizing the two wrong opponents – so you automatically find the right ones.
Here you have to count how many Goombas are still in the hot spring after each round. In the last round, dense steam makes visibility difficult.
Once you have reached a total of 100 points, you can move on to the next challenge.
The Shy Guys Finish Last
After your win, you can decide whether to go straight to the source or risk the Shy Guys Finish Last. If you answer the question correctly, you will receive an additional treasure mini. If the answer is wrong, you will have to complete the quiz show again.
You hear a song from the game and have to supplement the missing word. The possible solutions are:
- Edelwuchs-Jive: “Wipfelwedel”
- River of Life: “Must End”
- Temple Beat: “Tape in the Dark”
After the right answer, you finally reach the Spring of Rainbows. Here Bowser Jr. gets his paint back and is completely healed again.
