Boss fight against boss Sumo Bro
At the beginning of this chapter you have to face directly against the boss Sumo Bro. The opponent floats on a cloud over the ring arena and lets his henchmen steal important fields.
Your first destination is the ON switch. Build a path to the Sumo Bro behind the boss and defeat him with hammer or iron boots. Then you can activate the switch and call the Earth Vellumental.
The Earth Vellumental attack takes care of all the Sumo brothers on the ground while protecting you from the strong counterattack.
In the second phase, the boss leaves his cloud. His two helpers now steal the folding circles. Defeat the enemy with the fire folding circle and then call the Fire Vellumental. The attack causes enormous damage and ends the fight immediately.
The main hall of Bowser’s Castle
After the victory, you enter Bowser’s Castle. In the main hall, origami henchmen fight against Bowser’s army. You can participate in the fights and receive 1,000 coins each.
Then walk up the stairs to Bowser Jr. However, the main gate is locked. You must therefore go back down and examine the east wing of the fortress.
Finding Bowser’s Fortress Keys
Follow Magikoopa through the corridor. Behind several doors you can find additional collectibles:
- Room behind the second door: Treasure Mini
- Room behind the fourth door: Treasure Mini
- Repairing the third door: more invisible? Block behind the chair
Between the second and third doors there is a striking spot on the wall. Hit there with the hammer so that a picture of Olly falls down. Behind it lies a folding circle.
Pull off the wallpaper and enter the secret room. There you will meet Luigi, who will give you the fortress key.
When she leaves the room, Olivia is suddenly taken by a huge hand.
Boss fight against the Handaconda
The handaconda holds Olivia. To free her, you must harm the Snake.
Attack the boss with the hammer from the second inner ring. Jump attacks are intercepted, so the hammer is the best choice here. Use the x2 damage bonus on the way.
After causing enough damage, Olivia can escape. After that, the handaconda transforms the folding circles into scissors stone-paper symbols.

- Paper beats stone
Watch the boss closely. Once he shows his choice, move to the field that can beat him. Repeat this strategy until the battle is won.
Boss fight against the Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle
In the throne room, the next opponent awaits you: the Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle.
The Buzzy Beetle attacks with bone projectiles that you have to destroy with the hammer. Once his outer layer is damaged, Magikoopa’s magical attacks appear.
Avoid the magic rays. When the Buzzy Beetle is dazed, Magikoopa pulls down from his nose. After that, you must quickly flee into a corner to avoid damage.
If the Buzzy Beetle stops afterwards, attack him several times with the hammer until he is defeated.
Boss fight against the Scissors
The Scissors is one of the most dangerous opponents in the game.
In the first phase, she wears a protective cover. Only attack the green grip:
- Round 1: Jumping Attack
- Round 2: Hammer Attack
- Round 3: Attack in the right timing
In the second phase, the Scissors removes their shell and begins to destroy fields. Open the treasure chest, activate the “ON” switch and call the Ice Vellumental.
Once the Scissors are frozen, use the 1000 folding arms to cause massive damage.
Repeat this strategy until the boss is defeated.
Escape from Bowser’s Castle
After the victory, you destroy the last snake and free Bowser. Together you flee through the west wing of the fortress.
In the storage room, you have to solve a beam of light by rotating the Buzzy Beetle statues so that the red beam of light reaches the door.
Then Bowser calls his airship. In a short mini-game you have to shoot down arriving paper planes with the Cannon.
Nevertheless, the ship crashes and you land in the Hotfoot Crater. There you will have to flee from Origami minions until you reach a Cannon that will eventually catapult you to Mushroom Castle.Hotfoot Crater
