World 5-1
- Star Coin 1 — At the four blocks rotating in a circle, bounce from the rope to reach the coin among the Brick Blocks above.
- Star Coin 2 — Use Raccoon Mario to approach from either side and control your descent onto the rope beside the coin.
- Star Coin 3 — A little farther on, bounce from the rope to the isolated high platform. Reveal the invisible block containing a Vine and climb to the coin.
- Secret Exit — Near the third coin, reveal another Vine block above the rope on the right. Climb it, then bounce from the Koopas toward the red flag on the right. This unlocks World 5-Ghost House.
World 5-2
- Star Coin 1 — The coin is visible along the main route. Wait for the Piranha Plants to withdraw before jumping toward it.
- Star Coin 2 — Take Lakitu’s Cloud near the Checkpoint Flag and fly up. Look slightly left for the green pipe leading to the coin’s room.
- Star Coin 3 — Near the goal, take another Lakitu’s Cloud and fly to the high pipe. Enter it for the final coin.
World 5-3
- Star Coin 1 — After the Checkpoint Flag, choose the pipe farthest to the right to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 — Choose the middle pipe at the Checkpoint Flag. Reveal the hidden block above the ? Block and collect its Mini Mushroom. Follow the pipes to the right as Mini Mario, then enter the largest pipe at the end to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3 — Before the Checkpoint Flag, choose the third green pipe. It launches you through the coin.
World 5-Tower
- Star Coin 1 — Jump onto the fence on the right beside the Koopa, then climb up to the coin.
- Star Coin 2 — After the Checkpoint Flag, stay on the right side of the moving fence to reach the coin on the ledge.
- Star Coin 3 — After collecting the second coin, cross to the left and keep climbing to the final coin.
World 5-Ghost House
Unlock this course through World 5-1’s secret exit.
- Star Coin 1 — At the second tower of blocks, drop down the middle and use the lower blocks to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 — After going through the door, climb the second pole and follow the coin trail.
- Star Coin 3 — Use the third pole for the route leading to the final coin.
- Secret Exit — Before the first door, reveal the hidden Vine block among the other blocks. You can also fly through the opening in the ceiling as Raccoon Mario. Follow the upper passage to the red flag to open World 5-A.
World 5-A
Unlock this course through World 5-Ghost House’s secret exit.
- Star Coin 1 — Collect the coin visible along the main route, leaving yourself a safe landing on the next platform.
- Star Coin 2 — Bounce from the Koopa Paratroopa to reach the coin above the route.
- Star Coin 3 — Another Koopa Paratroopa provides the extra height needed to reach the final coin.
- Secret Exit — Before the Checkpoint Flag, hit the two Brick Blocks from below to reveal a Vine. Build up running speed and fly back up to it as Raccoon Mario. Climb to the red flag to open a shortcut to World 5-Castle.
