World 6-1
- Star Coin 1 — Approach the visible coin from the right for a controlled jump and a safer landing.
- Star Coin 2 — Wait for a falling volcanic rock to break the blocks around the coin, then move in while the route is clear.
- Star Coin 3 — Before the Checkpoint Flag, look at the end of the row of blocks for a hidden Vine block. Reveal it and climb to the coin.
World 6-Ghost House
- Star Coin 1 — Press the ? Switch, then climb back up on the right to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 2 — At the two doors and the left-pointing sign, press the ? Switch and go left. Activate the next switch among the blocks; falling blocks reveal a door. Enter it and use the switch in the new room to open the coin’s route. Wait in that room for the additional switch that reveals the way out.
- Star Coin 3 — At the same pair of doors, press the switch and take the upper door instead. Go all the way right and find the switch hidden in a ? Block behind a Big Boo. Enter the door it reveals, press the next switch, and Wall Jump to the top for the coin.
- Secret Exit — From the third coin’s room, keep Wall Jumping higher until you reach the uppermost door. It leads to the red flag and opens World 6-A.
World 6-2
- Star Coin 1 — Press the ? Switch to drop a Springboard onto the bone platform. Keep it out of the lava and carry it along until you can bounce up to the high coin.
- Star Coin 2 — After the Checkpoint Flag, stand toward the platform’s head to reach the Brick Blocks surrounding the coin. Break them from that higher position; Raccoon Mario’s tail makes this easier.
- Star Coin 3 — When the lava rises and Bob-ombs start falling, stay on the left and watch for the enclosed coin. Throw a Bob-omb into the blocks early enough for the explosion to clear them before your platform moves away.
World 6-3
- Star Coin 1 — While the mushroom platform is large, throw a Koopa shell to break the blocks around the coin. Stand near the platform’s edge and let its shrinking movement carry you inward to the coin.
- Star Coin 2 — After the Checkpoint Flag, enter the yellow pipe to reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3 — Take the upper route across the Brick Blocks, then jump over the yellow pipe to reach the last coin.
World 6-A
Unlock this course through World 6-Ghost House’s secret exit.
- Star Coin 1 — At the group of four Dry Bones, bounce from the last one to reach the high coin.
- Star Coin 2 — Collect the coin visible along the main route, checking your landing before jumping.
- Star Coin 3 — Use the Super Leaf provided in this part of the course. Jump left from that area and follow the coin trail to the final Star Coin.
