Mission 1: Scale the Mountain
Your objective is simple: reach the top of the mountain.
Follow the path upward by circling around it.
Use long jumps (Z + A) to cross early gaps.
Ignore the mushrooms and avoid the Monty Moles.
Cross the bridge and carefully balance on the log to continue.
Do not pick up the monkey — it will steal your cap.
Watch out for rolling boulders.
Use a long jump to cross the gap near the waterfall.
Continue past the Goombas, follow the narrow path, and climb the final ledge to reach the star.
Mission 2: Mystery of the Monkey Cage
Return to the top of the mountain where you will find the monkey.
Grab it (B), then release it.
The monkey will reward you by opening the cage containing the star.
Mission 3: Scary ‚Shrooms, Red Coins
Head to the mushrooms to collect the first four Red Coins.
Then climb up near the Monty Moles.
On your way up, you will find the remaining Red Coins.
After collecting all eight coins, the star appears on a nearby mushroom.
Use a long jump (Z + A) to reach it.
Mission 4: Mysterious Mountainside
Go to the area with the cloud near the wall.
Jump against the wall until you discover a hidden entrance.
Inside, you will find a slide.
Follow the arrows carefully to avoid falling off.
You can collect up to two 1-Up mushrooms along the way.
At the end of the slide, jump into the hole to reach the star.
Mission 5: Breathtaking View from Bridge
Go to the bridge area and look around — you can already see the star.
Activate the ! switch nearby to create a block in front of the star.
Use it to jump up and collect the star safely.
Alternatively, you can reach it with a well-timed long jump (Z + A).
Mission 6: Blast to the Lonely Mushroom
Return to the bridge and jump down into the valley.
Adjust your camera before jumping to aim correctly.
Talk to the pink Bob-omb to open the cannon.
Head back toward the mushrooms and Monty Moles.
Drop down carefully near the peak to land on a lower ledge.
Follow the path to the cannon.
Aim slightly above the star and launch yourself toward it.
Alternatively, use the mushroom teleport to reach the lower area.
Extra: Collect 100 Coins
Collect 100 coins to receive an additional star. There are 137 coins available:
- 62 Yellow Coins on the slide
- 8 Red Coins (= 16 Yellow Coins)
- 5 Yellow Coins in „Crazy Crates“
- 21 Yellow Coins from enemies
- 33 Yellow Coins scattered around
