Waterspout Beach
- Star Coin 1 You will find the first coin to the right of the water fountain. When the fountain is active, you can jump on it to get to the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 For the second Star Coin you need the Raccoon Suit. With this you can easily float to the coin. Alternatively, you can also use an ice flower. To do this, freeze the fish under the coin so that it solidifies into a block of ice.
- Star Coin 3 As the level progresses, a POW block appears. Wait until all the fountains on the right are active and then immediately use the POW block so that the Star Coin falls down.
Tropical Refresher
- Star Coin 1 This coin cannot be missed.
- Star Coin 2 Behind the checkpoint flag you swim to the two puffer fish. Further down you will find a hidden switch. When you activate this, the Star Coin appears.
- Star Coin 3 Shortly afterwards go into the green pipe. Here you will find a star in the? Block. Collect this and swim through the tube. In the next? Block there is another star. Keep swimming and go into the next green tube. At the end the Star Coin awaits you.
Giant Skewer Tower
- Star Coin 1 Once you have used the first tube, swim up. A spiked pillar comes out of the wall. Wait until it disappears into the wall on the right. Then swim into the wall on the left, where you will find the first Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2 Shortly afterwards the second Star Coin arrives. You can reach them with the note blocks.
- Star Coin 3 This coin cannot be overlooked either. Be careful not to get caught by the spiked pillar.
Haunted Shipwreck
- Star Coin 1 In the first room, the first Star Coin is next to a door hidden in the floor.
- Star Coin 2 This coin floats above the Boo circle. Jump out of the water to reach them.
- Star Coin 3 One green door later you find yourself in a section where at first glance there doesn’t seem to be an exit. Jump up two steps to the right and go a little to the right. Run back to the left and take a running jump to the niche at the top left, where you will immediately locate the third Star Coin.
- Secret Exit Go into the room with many invisible walls. Go right until you see a sign with an arrow. You will find a niche in the ceiling a little to the left of the sign. You have to go up here. With a little running you can get into the gap. It’s best to use the wall jump too. This will unlock the secret level: Skyward Stalk.
Above the Cheep Cheep Seas
- Star Coin 1 It’s best to grab a Yoshi from the? Block. The Star Coin cannot be missed. Run quickly over the blocks before they fall down to grab the coin.
- Star Coin 2 Immediately after the flag you will see the second coin. As soon as the left water fountain stops bubbling, jump onto the yellow stones. Jump on the spot a little so that the stones don’t break away. As soon as the fountain on the right stops bubbling, you can get the coin.
- Star Coin 3 As you can see from the screenshot, you have to find a secret pipe. Drop down as far as you can on the platform and then jump over to the pipe with Yoshi. Now grab the POW block and spit it out on the left. Now hack gas and quickly collect the coin that fell from the sky before the platform disappears with it.
Urchin Shoals
- Star Coin 1 For the following action you have to eat at least one mushroom to be big: Run to the yellow stones and clear the two opponents out of the way. Stand on the right yellow stone and wait until you sink down with it. Run into the niche on your right and hop against the wall block. Then grab the Mini Mushroom, which turns you into a Mini Mario. Run further to the right and locate two giant puffer fish in the water below you and several coins lying directly above them. You can now literally run across the water to avoid the puffer fish and collect the coins at the same time. As a reward you will receive the first Star Coin at the same time.
- Star Coin 2 Directly behind it you will see a long, thin pipe through which you can only fit as a Mini Mario, and next to it there is another fountain of water. Now run against this fountain, which you will fly up due to your small size, which will take you into the inside of the pipe. In the following room, simply run to the right over the stones to collect the second Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 Pass the checkpoint and keep running until you see a pipe running to the side below you. Next to it there are several water fountains with lots of small puffer fish lying on them. Hop on the Koopa directly above and take his shell. Stand to the right of the fountains and wait until they push the puffer fish up. Throw the shell to clear all the fish in one fell swoop. Go through the pipe and in the next picture swim carefully between the two giant puffer fish, collecting the third Star Coin at the same time.
Dragoneel’s Undersea Grotto
- Star Coin 1 Can’t be missed, just collect it.
- Star Coin 2 All you have to do is be big and destroy the blocks so that you can reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3 As soon as you see a red pipe in the level, quickly disappear into it. On the other side you will find the Star Coin. You can lure the eels to the left or right corner and leave this room again.
Larry’s Torpedo Castle
- Star Coin 1 Here again it’s all about the right timing. Wait until the flames release the Star Coin and then jump up from the question mark blocks. Quickly grabbed the coin and went back down.
- Star Coin 2 First swim past the coin and then sink all the way to the ground. Swim after the ball willi until you reach the coin.
- Star Coin 3 With the seven coins you can climb through the ceiling a bit. The last Star Coin is hidden here.
Skyward Stalk
