Solve the illuminated floor, identify the dancer carrying the elevator button and defeat DJ Phantasmagloria. The cleared DJ booth also opens the route to three of this floor’s gems.
Illuminated floor and vault
Walk over the dark tiles without leaving the route. When two squares remain dark, stand on them with Luigi and Gooigi and continue the next pattern. Complete the sequence to reveal the vault stairs. Gooigi can enter its barred chamber for the yellow gem and the hidden-vault achievement.
Corridor and cloakroom
Blow at the record decks to extend the wall block. Use the other character’s Burst beneath it repeatedly for purple. Vacuum all cloakroom clothes for green. Restore or exorcise haunted objects with Dark-Light when ordinary suction fails.
Find the button dancer
Watch the dance formation for the ghost with the elevator button. Burst beside that dancer to disrupt its pose, then flash and capture it. Remove masks with suction when the dancers protect their faces. Clear the group to trigger the DJ battle.
DJ Phantasmagloria
Dodge the spinning records. Move close during an opening and use Burst to knock off her large wig. Flash the exposed DJ and pull her tail. Repeat after each escape, watching the later record patterns instead of running directly across the projectiles.
Remove the booth
Stand Luigi and Gooigi on the two dark dance-floor tiles after the boss. Connect to the exposed Super Suction socket and clear the rear DJ booth and speakers. Enter the dressing area and restore the missing wig on the mannequin head for the blue gem.
Balconies and final gems
Restore the absent table on the left balcony for the white crystal ghost. Put one character at each balcony turntable and blow at both together. The disco ball falls and breaks, releasing the red gem. Check all six colours before taking the 15F button to the Master Suite.
Gems and floor completion
Use the six-colour list to finish this floor. Check the required return visit before trying a route that needs Gooigi, Super Suction or the later Toad mission.
