Recover Morty’s megaphone by carrying props between four film sets. Luigi operates each camera while Gooigi enters the filmed scene; activated televisions provide the transport routes.
Studio key and televisions
Recover the key from the entrance display and meet Morty backstage. Activate each set’s television so that props can travel between rooms. Carry objects through the televisions rather than trying to take them through every ordinary doorway.
Horror Set — fill the bucket
Take the empty bucket to Studio 1 and operate its camera with Luigi. Send Gooigi to the well with the bucket to trigger the filmed scene and recover the water-filled prop. Carry it onward through the television.
Castle Set — obtain the torch
In Studio 2, use the water on the growing plant while Luigi films. Climb the resulting route as Gooigi and retrieve the torch. Deal with the costumed ghosts before carrying the torch to the next set.
Fire Set — light the torch
Take the torch to Studio 3 and operate the camera. Walk Gooigi into the filmed fire with the torch to ignite it. Luigi should stay at the camera; Gooigi can safely handle the staged hazard. The same flames melt the blue-gem ice block carried from the backstage scaffold.
Micro Set — free the megaphone
Carry the burning torch to Studio 4. While Luigi operates the camera, have Gooigi burn the spider web trapping Morty’s megaphone. Retrieve the megaphone and return it backstage. Gooigi can also enter the giant bottle for the green gem.
The monster movie
Morty casts Luigi against the costumed monster. Dodge ordinary fireballs and blow the large energy ball back toward the enemy. Later volleys need Luigi and Gooigi blowing together; switch characters while holding the first action. Complete the final power struggle to finish the scene and obtain the 9F button.
Morty and Polterkitty
Morty retreats to the editing room. For his achievement, return after the film is finished and capture him there; he is a separate optional ghost from the monster fight. On the way to the elevator, Polterkitty steals the button. Follow the separate first-chase chapter through 8F and 7F before continuing.
Gems and floor completion
Use the six-colour list to finish this floor. Check the required return visit before trying a route that needs Gooigi, Super Suction or the later Toad mission.
