Climb the plant-filled atrium through themed bedrooms and bathrooms. Dr. Potter carries the 8F button to the top; the route alternates room puzzles with climbs on the central plant.
Begin the climb
Check beneath the elevator-hall picture with Dark-Light for the yellow gem. Follow the plant upward and enter the Blooming Suite. Pull the sideboard panel to reveal Gooigi’s pipe; the flower above the bed contains the red gem.
Blooming Bathroom and falling fruit
Vacuum the petals from the bath and floor drain. Gooigi reaches the purple gem through the lower pipes. On the atrium path, avoid the rolling pineapple and keep climbing when the route is clear.
Thorny Bathroom
Use Luigi’s tools to clear the obstructions and open the path onward. Keep Gooigi away from running water. Return to the atrium and negotiate the next fruit trap before entering the ivy-covered rooms.
Ivy Suite — circular saw
Pick up the powered circular saw with suction and cut the vines blocking the route. In the bathroom, use both characters on the giant watermelon obstacle. For the white gem, send Gooigi below the floor, restore the missing pipe and run the bath water to feed the lower flower.
Mushroom Suite and upper atrium
Use the mushrooms to gain height, then descend beneath the bedroom floor for the Gooigi pipe and green-gem flower. Continue along leaves and vines to the top. Clear the left wall hatch and follow the exterior window walkway for the blue gem.
Dr. Potter
Take the circular saw and position Luigi so that the snapping plant bites one of the large solid flower bulbs. While its mouth is stuck, cut through the stem with the saw. Flash the exposed gardener and capture him. Repeat with the next bulb until the fight ends.

After the boss, collect the 8F button and check all six gem colours. Flash every Strobulb flower you encounter if you are also completing the floor achievement; the route’s optional side flowers count as well.
Gems and floor completion
Use the six-colour list to finish this floor. Check the required return visit before trying a route that needs Gooigi, Super Suction or the later Toad mission.
