Use Gooigi to enter the barred shops, follow the playing-card keys and recover the next elevator button from Kruller.
Restrooms and mall key
Search the restroom corridor before entering the shopping area. Pull the cubicle doors and inspect the rooms for the key to the mall. For the purple gem, drain the neighbouring women’s restroom from below before sending Gooigi through its wall pipe.
Follow the card keys
Kruller hides behind the security-office door. Start with the diamond accessories shop, then follow the heart, spade and club keys through the boutique, gift shop and barber shop. Gooigi passes through the shutters while Luigi stays outside. Open each matching register and defeat the ghosts released by the search.
Boutique and gift shop
Remove displays and inspect suspicious mirrors or blank spaces with Dark-Light. In the boutique, the mannequin panel opens the secret red-gem room. The gift-shop route includes a hidden café; restore missing objects when the room seems to have no way forward.
Barber shop entrance
Use Luigi and Gooigi to turn the two scissors mechanisms above the entrance together. Continue the register-key chain inside. Against the Hammer, avoid its frontal attacks, get behind it and pull the tail; facing it head-on wastes time and health.
Kruller — send Gooigi through
Gooigi enters the security office through the bars. Remove Kruller’s sunglasses with suction, flash him and pull his tail. Avoid his water pistol: a hit dissolves Gooigi. Luigi can remain safely outside while Gooigi is resummoned for another attempt.
Collection before leaving
Flash the corridor vending machine repeatedly for the blue gem; breaking it does not give that reward. Use Dark-Light for the high mall ladder, and Burst through the upper gate for the white-gem ledge. Install 2F’s button to continue the restaurant route.
Gems and floor completion
Use the six-colour list to finish this floor. Check the required return visit before trying a route that needs Gooigi, Super Suction or the later Toad mission.
