F5 – RIP Suites Walkthrough
In this part of the Luigi’s Mansion 3 walkthrough, you explore Floor 5, track down the chambermaid ghost, and recover the elevator button for Floor 3. Along the way, you’ll unlock Gooigi and learn how to use him to solve puzzles. We also show you how to collect all remaining gems in B1 and Floor 1 with clear step-by-step instructions.
Exploration Tour
Take the elevator up to the fifth floor. Once you reach the corridor, head to the right first. Clear the suitcases out of the way using the Suction Shot.
Move north through the corridor and head to Room 508. On the way, capture the three ghosts blocking your path. Inside, you will encounter a maid ghost who quickly escapes with a suitcase.
Before you can leave the room, three more ghosts will appear. Capture them and then head into Room 507, where you will encounter the suitcase ghost again.
Chambermaid’s Room
Use the Suction Shot on the suitcase and slam the ghost around. After the first hit, it will flee to Room 505.
Repeat the same process there: use the Suction Shot and slam the ghost. It will then escape to Room 506, where you can defeat it for good.
Pick up the suitcase and you will also receive the elevator button for Floor 3.
Gems in B1
Now return to E. Gadd’s Lab in the garage. Here, you will receive Gooigi, which is used to solve puzzles.
A short tutorial follows, where E. Gadd traps you in a cage. Activate Gooigi and move to the right to turn the valve, lifting the cage. Then switch back to Luigi and walk over to E. Gadd.
- Gem 2 (red) – Garage
As Gooigi, go left through the fence and open the fuse box. Activate it with the Strobulb. - Gem 3 (blue) – Garage
Pull the cover off the wall on the right, climb up the elevator shaft, and drop down through the grate as Gooigi. - Gem 6 (yellow) – Service Stairs
Drop down through the grate as Gooigi.
If you followed the guide, you should now have all gems from B1!
Gems in Floor 1
- Gem 3 (blue) – Lobby
In the upper left area of the lobby, pull away the carpet and drop down as Gooigi. Blow away the picture and drop down to collect the gem. - Gem 6 (yellow) – Lobby
Place Luigi and Gooigi on the switches on both sides of the chandelier. Then blow on it from both sides at the same time. - Gem 2 (red) – Lobby
Open the cabinet with the hotel painting above it using the plunger. - Gem 1 (white) – Lobby
Reveal the invisible sofa on the left and defeat the gem ghost.
You should now have all gems on Floor 1! Continue with Floor 3 – Shops.
