F4 – The Great Stage Walkthrough
In this part of the Luigi’s Mansion 3 walkthrough, you explore the concert hall on Floor 4. Solve musical puzzles, defeat the piano boss Amadeus Wolfgeist, and rescue Toad. Along the way, you’ll find all gems in the elevator hall, dressing room, and restrooms with clear step-by-step instructions.
The Different Instruments
Exit the elevator and head left. A ghost will make things difficult for you on the carpet. However, just run across quickly, take one or two hits if needed, and capture the ghost on the other side.
- Gem 5 (purple) – Elevator Hall
Blow into the tuba and use Gooigi to grab the gem that pops out. - Gem 3 (blue) – Concession Stand
Blow at the bottles in sequence to open the safe. - Gem 6 (yellow) – Elevator Hall
Activate the light switch on the popcorn machine multiple times.
Then head through the large door into the concert hall.
Boss Fight: Amadeus Wolfgeist
Now it’s time to step onto the stage with Luigi. A piano-playing ghost appears and targets you.
He starts by throwing chairs from the audience at you, so keep moving to avoid them. After that, several ghosts appear. Use the Burst (ZL + ZR) to knock off their sunglasses, then stun and vacuum them.
Next, you’ll face the pianist ghost Amadeus Wolfgeist, who hides inside the piano and attacks with it. Watch out for his attacks—they deal heavy damage. When he slams down hard on the fourth attempt, use a Burst to avoid the shockwave.
This briefly reveals the ghost inside the piano, but you can’t attack yet. Wait until he jumps back onto the stage and spits bombs. Grab one of the unexploded bombs and throw it into the piano. Once the piano flips onto its side, use the Suction Shot on it and pull. Throw the piano off the stage, then stun the ghost and vacuum him.
Repeat this process three times, and you will defeat him. As a reward, you’ll receive the elevator button for Floor 6.
Rescue Toad
Afterward, use the Dark-Light Device to free Toad from the painting on the stage. Then escort him back to the elevator. Once he is safe, you can immediately insert the new button.

Reveal the missing piano keys and play them. - Gem 1 (white) – Women’s Restroom
Reveal the faucet, turn it, and defeat the gem ghost.
You can only obtain the final gem (Gem 4) much later in the game once your Poltergust has been upgraded.
